Read the item description: it's a Guppy PLUSHIE that counts towards the Guppy transformation and avoids Isaac intentionally while taking hits. The further you are from Guppy, the more tears you get .... but it also grants a tears up to enemies NEAR the plush. It also can die, which will grant a one-time tear buff for that floor but comes back next floor.

I have an irrational hatred of 2x2 rooms. Just, all of them. They take so long to complete sometimes with certain enemy groups and give very little for it in return! I do agree though, that bomb fly room is very unfun, don't know what Edmund was thinking with that one.

My hatred room is any room that you cant reach enemies with spirit sword or forgotten bone without soul hearts (you can get devil deals at the price of uour soul for forgotten if you change characters right as you pick up the devil item and you just need to obtain a soul heart or black heart and that revives the soul

There is something I want you to test: Antibirth, the mod which Repentance is based on. This look similar, but there is a lot of changes compared with Repentance. I think you would appreciate that. However, it works only with Rebirth, so you must deactivate the DLCs for that.

I posted it. Its actually a plushie that avoids Isaac intentionally and can tank tears. It grants more tears if your away from it, but it also buff enemy tears stats if they're near it. If hit physically, it dies and grants its full tear buff for the entire floor but comes back next floor. So basically your playing keep away.
