What can you say. He is totally blind yet he plays the guitar like the best and his voice is very individual. Awesome, we all have a lot to learn!

He has such an amazing voice. I'm in love with it. Just watched the queens jubilee concert where Gary and the Commonwealth Band performed - of which Gurrumul is a part of - the track "Sing" that they created. I watched it three times and each time cried my way through it, each time when gurrumul appeared. I was so proud of Gary, and the band and hearing it all together, in London overwhelmed me. He has such a beautiful, unique voice. I love him.

We have never seen him on Australian TV, we had to find out about him through another country. Australia is one of the most prestigious country I have ever seen & I am a Kiwi, & it saddens me that they may love there Australian ways but when it comes to there indigenous people is never to be found on tv.

I so agree. I discovered him when Australia advertised his last album. I thought he was a new talent. He died not long after. I'm sad I didn't get to travel his journey.
