It's the colour of our heart, not the colour of our skin that matters. I know aboriginals that are more aussie than some Aussies & I know Aussies who are more aboriginal than some aboriginals. I'm both & I found in my experience skin colour doesn't count for much. I've been accepted & rejected by aboriginals, & I've been accepted & rejected by Aussies. I know aussie farmers & Aussies in general who care more about the land & native wildlife than the local aboriginals. I have a personal rule I follow which is walk away & try to avoid anyone who can only see the colour of mine or anyone else's skin.
