I wonder for the drilling jig piece that you had to mill if you could have printed it standing up such that neither reference face is facing the build plate. To avoid drooping on the top of the plunger pocket a trick is to make the top part of the cylinder a tear drop so the last bit is no longer an overhang.

I think it probably could have been printed. For me its fast and easy to mill but i think it is definitely possible to print
