I'm so confused about whether Sikhs like India or not because most Sikhs groups in Canada and UK have leaflets and booklets about Khalistan. I don't see any patriotic Indian Sikhs. But they chose India in 1947

You don't see patriotic Sikhs?? Majority of freedom fighters were Sikhs, when Sikhs made hardly 1% or 2% of the Indian sub-continent, Sikhs made more than 55% of the Indian army.. Sikhs fought for British and laid their lives cause British promised them that if they help them win the war, they will leave india, If this country has Jammu and Kashmir and had Pakistan before partition then it's because of Sikhs, Maharaja Ranjit Singh Ji, if people and their rights are saved in north india, in the last 600 years, then it was because of Sikhs .. and you say Sikhs weren't patriotic??

In the partition, Britain had grouped religious groups together, and they considered Sikh's and Hindus as one in the same. So Sikhs, Hindus, and Muslims fled to where they thought they would be safe. Sikhs assumed being in Pakistan would be unsafe.

How is it forced if it’s within the context of a democracy? If people vote for a party then they endorse those policies don’t they? Is it forcible redistribution for you to pay taxes? Parties that have a policy of taxation are elected. If you personally disagree with taxation then are you being forced or do you have the option to 1) move to a jurisdiction in line with your beliefs (I.e. less taxes) or attempt to democratically sway the electorate to your beliefs (like Jagmeet Singh)

@@singhskeptic5742 alot of government/adminstrative/police authorities are tweeting about it too. They FORM the government. Just search it up for yourself and I am not interested in any debate. When the police selectively called out gursikhs and put shoes on their hair on purpose it should be an alarming sign already for you, even akal takht issued a statement against the government stopping nankana sahib yatra. I am pretty well opinionated on this . I don't want to argue. Any person wishing to see this without any bias would agree with me.
