SOHAM , i first read it in the Ramayan by tulsidas goswami ji. There is a talk about the self/soul/living entity making contact with maya(body etc). Then how do we free the soul from the clutches of maya(primal ignorance) has been mentioned as a process. One of the stages in this process reads " soham asmi iti vratti akhanda, deepshikha tab bhaee prachanda!" But to use it in a sequential breathing process , i never thought. Definitely i liked the experience of trembling hands & legs & lips and the cold water running from the eyes at the end of the sudarshan kriya when they ask u to lie down and feel the vibrations in the body. Regards to guruji .🙏🙏🙏

My MIL was an ardent devotee and senior student of Art of Living. She was always into meditation and yoga, selfless service for decades of her life. Met Guruji for her training many times in BLR. While I was into yoga meditation myself since childhood through Ramakrishna Mission, I moved to the west as a teenager. I haven’t had a chance to meet him or learn Sudarshan Kriya that she spoke of so highly. Perhaps my time hasn’t come yet. Is it possible to do this in BLR to learn directly from Gurudev or it’s only through certified teachers now? Any direction/details is much appreciated 🙏🏼

The kriya has been taught from prisoners to militants to mafias. The donation is used for multiple social projects for the betterment of society. From teaching the kriya to utter unpriviledged to river rejuvenation, free schools etc. You can research more on their website.
