A sannyas is one who has given himself to the world.....not run away from it. If one is unhappy, the solution is not to run away..... If one cannot do sadhana at home, he will not be successful in a cave. Wherever we go, we take ourselves with us. We each come with our own set of karmas that must be faced and dealt with....so the highest path for each of us is to follow our own dharma.....Many people seem to make the mistake of trying to follow someone else's path... and that will never lead anywhere. Understand, accept and surrender to what is your own path and then you will find peace and the way to liberation. I don't know if others agree, but this is my own understanding . Excellent video. I just have one question which hopefully Manish Pandit ji or anyone else can clarify. In Hinduism since we believe in reincarnation, then why do the Pitris exist? Wouldn't they be going on to new births instead of maintaining connections with their family lineages? Or does their atma go to new incarnations but some other part of their spirit stays behind connected to the family? It seems a little confusing.

Pitris are your Ancestors who died unnaturaly at wrong age and worried what will happen to their family n lineage ! Only those souls become ur pitris to protect the family. They said to be living on the other side of the moon n that's why worshiping them on amavasya/ no moon night helps them get closer to us. It is also written in classics that one shouldn't do pitri puja if father or grand father is still alive, in those cases the oldest in the lineage should pray to pitris. There's a specific period/ a whole month in Hindu calendar dedicated to give food n other things to our ancestors. Hope this helps.

Boeing777er - can't really say that those are not at peace or stuck in physical world, not all the souls of family who died at premature age becomes ur pitri and not everyone remembers remembers who from them ancestors their real Pitri is! In hinduism there are masters in Sadhna who can find out that 1 soul from ur family who's there! There's only 1 pitri per side of father n mother.

Blessed to hear this wisdom filled knowledge. I wish to know what if the Man of the family has his father alive and that father doesn't believe in the pitri tarpana?? The daughter in law of that family suffers unrest in the family due to several ailments and unpleasantness. What is the way ahead if the girl wants to satisfy the pitri of her in law's side by some action?? Please suggest. Many a karmas towards satisfying the pitr is mandatorily an action by the male head of the family. But the rigours of putri dosha is burdened on the female folk of the family. What would you read about this aspect. 🙏
