I loved her thoughtfulness and her kind of "natural" character. In some way it was very "soothing" for me and I feel the focus on compassion shining through in her serene presence. Just show your true self and nature. Yes, learn from the others...adapt ideas. But don't be afraid to show you. I lived in Japan and worked in Mexico and took a few months of Tibetan at the ICT office in Washington.

Nice spontaneous use of "vagina" in ordinary conversation! As for your prohibition against "disturbing the views of others," sometimes that's also called teaching. Bodhisattvas dedicate themselves to "disturbing the views" of sentient beings.
