I love Hector's actor, he could radiate so much expression with no dialogue and only physical acting🤌

Well, you do forget that his story is about revenge. So it's not really out of character.

That's right. He wanted Hector to live out the rest of his days in misery, having lost everything and everyone he loves. Not out of character at all.

Love the analysis it showed how Gus’s character dynamic is able to use these laws and adapt based on the situations he is in. Please do more on characters like Lalo and Walter white.

Better Call Saul did an incredible job when they had Gus Fring carrying a handgun after he found out that Lalo was not dead. Gus was a man who hired men with guns, not a man who had to use guns. This literary TV show portrayed the discomfort of this vengeful drug kingpin very well. I can't imagine a writer conveying this better in prose.

Interesting video! Gus almost won but his main weakness was his revenge for Hector. The reason he kept Hector alive was because of his vendetta against him for the killing of Max. It the only thing personal to Gus while everything else was strictly business.

My guess, using the only available hints and tying them in to actual history- Gustavo Fring , “El Generalissimo” was a member of General Augusto Pinochets’ intelligence/ security police during the time of Chilean Military Junta. They were linked to and used ex SS officers who fled to South America after ‘45 . Colonia Dignidad was a training centre for the Chilean Secret Police who were instructed by ex Gestapo/ SS /SD . This may explain the connection with Ziegler..having to leave Chile after everything came crashing down for Pinochet and whatever happened in Santiago which again is hinted at . The way he holds himself, his use of psychological warfare..it’s all there. The Junta were nasty people irl and you can read about their horrific reign and they would have had many many Gustavo Frings. Fring is possibly an alias as the DEA could not trace him.
