It just illustrates how bad they are without Moses & Gutherson compared to how much better they are with them both in the team. You would just hope as a supporter of the club that they never get injured again. Despite the win tonight though there are a lot of issues at the club which need to be sorted out over the off-season going into 2025 and beyond.

Amen. Coaches get blamed for everything these days. Teams who don't have exceptionally good pathways go through slumps, especially with key injuries. BA led them to the Finals for the better part of a decace, seems ridiculous to sack him. Board has gone mad - which is usually the problem, not the coaches.

I’m a Sharks supporter, but the fact Parramatta can put out performances like these must be really frustrating for their supporters, waiting almost 40 years for success must feel like a burden. One week they get pumped by the last placed team, the next they beat the team on top. I understand that Moses and Gutherson are vital to their team and success but without them it almost feels like they give up before they get on the field, like their destined to lose and show no effort and heart in their performance. And now the sacking of Arthur has pushed them back rather than helped their cause, it was obvious they sacked him while their main players were injured because they knew when they returned he will have success again and the board didn’t want that, and to scheme behind his back to poach Bennett is such a treasonous move.

It's been a problem for many years at Parramatta, consistency. In regards to Moses and Gutherson it is good they are back but at the same time it really shows that without either of them the team falls into a heap. Other teams this year have seen more players ruled out but they persevere and still win games but not with Parramatta. The recruitment and retention needs to be looked at seriously over the summer. The depth in the team if there are injuries is possibly one of the weakest in the NRL.

Gus I agree in terms of timing for Brad Arthur. You say and I agree that it’s 90 mental that is the reason Brad Arthur is not the right coach. A great coach changes belief first then behavior and wins tough games on belief. Love Brad but he in 10 seasons cannot win enough big games even though he was the only coach who could get his team up for Penrith

Coach is sacked presumably for poor team performance/results. New coach coming and expect changes to the player roster. Players up their game/mindset greatly assisted with the return of key players. Play to win knowing that their opposition team is weakened.

Hello?? Any club that chases Wayne Bennett has to first sack their coach. It is public knowledge Bennett won’t talk to any club with an existing coach. That’s why they (secretly) made the decision to sack BA and began negotiating with Bennett the next day. Only Wayne Bennett can explain such a wrecking ball “integrity”.

To answer your first question... Dogs last year were missing most of their key strike players for large parts of the year. And it showed with their results. Parra missing only two players and looked beyond average....all this with a stacked forward pack and Sivo the saviour. Tomorrow will show how well they play missing three leaders to guide them under their new style of play.

BS - 1st half they had no errors and only down by 6. They looked bereft of ideas when with the ball and scored a breakaway try just before half time. In all honesty they defended so much they were stuffed come the back end of the second half. Eels played good game plan
