As for those who disbelieve and die disbelievers, even the earth full of gold would not be accepted from any of them, were he to offer it for ransom. These will have a painful torment, and will have no saviors. 111. Those who followed will say, “If only we can have another chance, we will disown them, as they disowned us.” Thus Allah will show them their deeds, as regrets to them, and they will not come out of the Fire. 168. O people! Eat of what is lawful and good on earth, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. He is to you an open enemy. 169. He commands you to do evil and vice, and to say about Allah what you do not know. 170. And when it is said to them, “Follow what Allah has revealed,” they say, “We will follow what we found our ancestors following.” Even if their ancestors understood nothing, and were not guided? 171. The parable of those who disbelieve is that of someone who calls upon someone who hears nothing except screaming and yelling. Deaf, dumb, and blind-they do not understand. Read The Quran

American here. I visited Norway several years ago for almost a month and absolutely LOVED it. As with any country I visit, I research their culture, social norms, etiquette, and try to memorize as much of their language as I can if it is not a language I speak already. I even watch videos of how they dress beforehand so I can blend in. I met some of the nicest people, and made some friends I'm still in contact with to this day. Then I got to the airport and while waiting to board, encountered the most loud, obnoxious, arrogant IDIOT of an American making everyone cringe. I hid from the guy he was behaving so badly. My heart sank because I realized in that moment, it's those types (that annoy a whole room full of people) who leave such an impression on so many. The ones who have the intelligence and respect to abide by the locale's code of conduct go unnoticed by such crowds.

One thing I feel is important to separate is the people from the politics. Yes, the political system in the US sucks with a 2 party system consisting of 2 horrible parties that every election seems to cough up horrible presidential candidates and where the majority often lose elections. You can hate the politics but don't hate the people. Unfortunately gun loving right-wing anti-vaccine extremists get a bit too much media attention in international media providing a bit of a distorted impression and putting the US in a bad light. I certainly don't hate Iranians who are some of the nicest people on the planet even though I hate their regime in power. So do most Iranians by the way. The same can be said for many of the totalitarian regimes around the world like North Korea, Belarus, and China.

In Swedish, and probably Norwegian, there are two words for "educated": utbildad/bildad. She's probably referring to the latter. And it's probably true even if a generalization. So many Americans know very little about the world outside. They even find Canadians weird, only for not being like them. And of course, not all Americans are like this. But it would at least not surprise me if it could be scientifically validated that Americans are the least knowledgeble (among developed countries)about the world outside of their own country. Those people hating on America actually really annoy me. I am half German half English so am not partisan towards America. However, if I HAD to hate on a country there are MANY that would be above America. What about countries where freedom of speech is banned. Countries where religion takes precedent over basic human rights. Countries where women are not allowed to drive or alcohol is banned. Countries where they still chop off your hands. Countries where middle aged men can marry children To hate on America shows a level of naivety in my humble opinion. To hate America seems to be the cool thing to do. People actually seem embarrassed to admit they might actually like America. Whatever your feelings about America there is one thing we in the free West must never forget. Without America being the world dominant power there is no guarantee that those who hate America would any longer have the right to say what they want. I’ve visited all over the lower 48 states and lived in 5 or 6 states. The most nasty people I’ve ever met from coast to coast, was from Washington DC into the northeast. New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine are the exception. It’s absolutely beautiful and the people are very grounded. There are parts of the USA that are very reserved. I grew up in such an area. My husband and children moved to the south and it was quite the culture shock. I’m looking forward to the beauty and history Scandinavia has to offer. I’ve been mesmerized with the architecture, people, nature and so many more things.❤️

@@franzl6153 True but no one thinks of Finnmark when they think of Northern Norway, as it's mostly uninhabited and the few habitants are often Sami. The northernmost city in Norway (and probably also all of Europe) is Tromsø, which is situated in Troms. Finnmark is East of it but despite that, it's significantly colder. That's because Tromsø is located along the coastline, which means it has access to the gulf stream, whereas Finnmark doesn't. The gulf stream is essential for Europe's climate as a city like London would otherwise have a climate like the one of Siberia. The northernmost city in Finland is Rovaniemi and it's quite a bit colder than Tromsø. It's not as snowy by a quite a big margin but it's colder. Something like 10°C and it's further South as well.

As an American, I don’t think I’ll be traveling to Norway after watching this video. I spent a great deal of time in France (learned French), so I don’t need any more exposure to anti-Americanism. I always thought Norwegians had a positive view of the U.S. and Americans. Norway is off my bucket list. Besides, I think Alaska is more beautiful and will go there instead, and not have to worry about anti-American sentiment, except from the Democrats. The U.S. has many diverse regions, so Americans can spend a lifetime learning about their own country.

Well, thanks to the Gulf Stream bringing warm water all the way from the Mexican Gulf the winters in Norway aren't that cold. But it does get progressively colder the further East in Scandinavia you go. Sweden is colder, and Finland (Nordic country) is colder still. The reason is probably the mountain range between Norway and Sweden meaning that the relatively mild weather doesn't travel eastward.

If only the wrongdoers would realize, when they see the torment; that all power is Allah’s, and that Allah is severe in punishment. 166. Those who were followed will then disown those who followed them, and they will see the retribution, and ties between them will be severed. 167. Those who followed will say, “If only we can have another chance, we will disown them, as they disowned us.” Thus Allah will show them their deeds, as regrets to them, and they will not come out of the Fire. 168. O people! Eat of what is lawful and good on earth, and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. He is to you an open enemy. 169. He commands you to do evil and vice, and to say about Allah what you do not know. 170. It's ok bro. While they were fighting their "neighbours" and others in Europe for the past 1000 years, we took the past 300 years to expand and grow. It's just been about 30 years now their systems began to work well for them. It's funny how Europeans have had the worst in history and now they get their crap together, they think they can go and judge the world they practically made.

@@RamiroR13 Jealousy of what? they are literally the superior country, they have better education systems, free healthcare systems, no guns, friendly people etc.. usa literally has nothing to offer that Norway hasn't already, it's just better in every aspect, but hey it doesn't matter if you're american or not if you're a good person Norweigians will like you, it just depends on the person, open minded people won't hate you just because you're from a specific country, check how well foreigners are treated in Pakistan as an example.
