hey on a real note i'm Armenian and i appreciate you bringing awareness even if it was a little bit of a goof. the US didn't recognize the Armenian genocide until just a few months ago and turkey will never admit it. not many people know of the tragedy my ancestors faced so thank you for bringing attention to it. lots of love from an Armenian!
@sean50284 жыл бұрын
I will never understand how a country can completely deny such a well-documented fact as the Armenian Genocide. Thank God the United States government finally recognizes it as truth, but it should have been a century ago. Nobody, especially a country's entire fucking government, should deny history just out of shame associated with it; this is how tragedy repeats itself.

Or you just discovered SOAD a few months ago , just a joke , im not even really that educated on the Armenian genocide
@jonathancapps38104 жыл бұрын
How does it feel to live in a country (if you live in the US ) that goes into chaos over one person of one race gets killed , but noone even acknowledge or even know what an Armenian is. Probably a pretty broad question.
@limepop3404 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Capps Not only is this a broad question, but it’s loaded and uneducated. Please, when something doesn’t quite make sense to you, try and learn the nuance to get a better understanding of the topic. If you take things at face value and put others down because of your conception of a seemingly absurd situation, the only thing that benefits is your own ego. The goal with things like this should never be winning or seeming superior, but rather understanding. Imagine your friend gets dumped and you catch him cutting on his bathroom floor. Only a sociopath takes the opportunity to point out his fragile existence - that something so inconsequential would lead him to self harm. You get him safe and get him help the best you can. You try and understand the situation, to work towards making things batter. Moral grandstanding is never the answer.

Community college slaps and anyone who is considering going to college I highly recommend you at least consider looking into your local community. In this TED Talk I will be explaining why you should. TLDR: Its cheaper, better for mental health, more access to help, and it's fun. First, it's cheaper than university. Since all my financial aid fell through I have had to pay for two semesters of college out of pocket. I have paid less than $3,000 for twenty five credits (4 classes in two semesters). I would've paid WAY more in university. And I get way more out of it. I get free tutoring, campus events, sometimes SGA gives away free food, 6 free therapy counseling sessions, and so much more. Second, mental health. Thinking about college is very overwhelming and my senior year of high school was not my best time for my mental health. I was overwhelmed and had not planned this far ahead. Since community college is small and has almost 100% acceptance rate I had a much less stressful experience because staff was quicker to talk to me and I didnt have to deal with waiting to be rejected or accepted, I was accepted immediately. It has been a good stepping block that has been good for my mental health and has allowed me to be the best student I know I am capable of being. Third, time and help. This has been a big one for me. Because classes are smaller than a university, that gives more one on one time opportunities. I got coffee with my English professor last semester just to talk about shit because we got along. We both had the time and ability to do that, if she had a class of 50 theres no way that could've happened. Having that ability to have one on one time really helped me succeed because I felt I had a better path of dialogue. Bonus point, I just feel like it's more fun. I have been able to connect with such a diverse pool of people because of community college. It's not just class clowns who just got out of high school. Many of my classmates are middle aged parents who are just looking for a better avenue in life to better support their kids and be happier. And being able to have that reminder that no matter when in life you can change your path has been way less stressful. And I have time to do shit.

Even if it's on the same slide and you just said it a minute ago if you didn't say it a second time when you move to the second thought that was on the same website just about something mildly different automatically wrong.
