I can only say thank God for Positive Train Control. PTC can and will prevent these types of derailments and save Amtrak and the BNSF a whole lot of money.

@@veniciocaldas1514 If only Positive Train Control was added before, the BNSF wouldn't have to reopen the old Tacoma Station on Puyallup Avenue and that chaos would never had happen. Who'd knew it'd take almost four years (3 years & 11 months, to be exact) of clean up, reconstruction, the federal installation of PTC and lots of testing along the Point Defiance Bypass to restore service for good?
