Is it just me or: You're taking a test and your gut says it one answer and your about to put it as that but then you over think it and you put it as another thing and when you check after the test is over, the answer your gut feeling had was the right one? *Dang that was detailed-*

I got a gut feeling once before. All of a sudden I had this terrible feeling that something really bad was happening. My dog started barking and there was a person at the gate. Normally I would think it was someone handing out flyers or something, but I just knew it was bad news. Sure enough, a person is standing around. The person then began what looked like to me picking the lock. When he gets the gate open I full on freak out and start running around aimlessly. I peek through the window and see that the person went back outside and is now pacing back and fourth outside. Finally the person leaves, and I started to calm down. To this day I have no idea how I got a gut feeling so fast. Like right away I knew something was wrong. It still boggles me today.

Well, I got a gut feeling once. This happened last year, my family and I were going to our usual family year-end trip. We were going to Austrailia to visit our uncles. Before we left our house, me and my elder brother had a feeling that our house might get robbed. Since we were Christians we prayed to Jesus. The day we were coming back to our hometown, my mom received news that our next door neighbour got robbed. The theifs took both his car and took almost took everything that was not heavy. Since it was our next door neighbour, the police accidently took a picture of my house. So, always listen to your gut Edit : I should explain the situation better. My house had an alarm and multiple locks on our door as our neighbour didn't, so yeah

R A, why do you people try and “prove” other people’s beliefs wrong? God can’t make money appear for those people, but you know who can? Them, by getting a job, I know it’s not easy and houses take a lot of money, but still ya’ll don’t have to practically attack people for believing in something/having an opinion! If I wanna believe in something then I can don’t try to say that it’s wrong because he doesn’t make something happen! This is a story I've never posted online about gut feelings but here. Thanks for reading if you do. Please don't think I'm boasting, because that's why I never posted this before as well. I once followed my gut which saved a construction worker's life. I live in the UK btw, so back in 2014 I was in a history class in year seven. The teacher left to go get tea/coffee and my class messed around a bit whilst doing some work in our books. There was construction work for a new building in the area in front of the building we were in, which had two classes for history. When me and my classmates looked out the window we could see this one man on one of those crane boxes where you get lifted to the internal metal structures of the building. When we started at him, everyone found him funny to look at as he was bent and wriggling his body and shaking his body and butt at us, as the window showed him on the crane box about a few feet away from the classroom. I kept staring, wondering why he was doing that, but thought it wasn't funny. However, guiltily I laughed a small bit with them as well. My new friends were asking why I was just standing and to stop staring. However, something in my gut felt majestic, like those moments in a movie where the one action you do for being the only one to realise something, would be dramatic. I kept staring at the man, standing next to the window and the desk with my open book. In my head I said: "Ok, you might be overthinking things, but this is one of those gut feelings moments. Which do you pick? Do your history work, or say something. You'll look weird if you are wrong if you say something, like in the movies. You may be overdramatic about this right now. But keep looking. Look!" But once I realized what was happening I was shocked. The construction man was wriggling like that because he was stuck. The bars on the crane box are trapping his neck between the metal frame and the crane is moving upwards. So he can't move anything except the bottom half of his body. He's suffocating. Wait. He's dying!? Problem was, once I realized, I was too scared to say something and be wrong and be embarrassed. I was a serious introvert, and I barely new my class since I just started secondary school/highschool. I thought, if I say something, or shout, I could run to the next class and tell the existing adult teacher what's happening, and get to the office, but I was too scared. Then I just said, "It's ok. You need to do this or else you'll regret." I said quietly to everyone at the window but loudly enough: "Wait! He's stuck! He's dying right now! He can't move!" Then everyone started shouting at the same time because as soon as I was about to run to the teacher or office, OUR teacher came in happily out of nowhere. Everyone shouted that he needs help, he's stuck etc... My teacher Mr Edward holding a tray of tea and that "WHAT" moments, being shocked once he heard what we were all shouting saying he can't understand us but then set the tray down looking left and right crazily, and ran to the teacher in the next room. Next thing we know, the other teacher jumped over the metal fence that separates people from the area, and Mr Edwards ran to the office or closest building. It happened so fast after that, then we were evacuated from the area after waiting for the teachers. Whilst walking away from our class room, we heard sirens from police cars and ambulances and firetrucks. And there was even a helicopter to help the man from the frame. As you may have to lift him up though the metal frames and cut the metal bars. However, the helicopter wasn't needed after all. And after all that, we were notified he was ok, and he had a big purple bruise around his neck, and told us that, if he was there any longer, (if I decided not to follow my gut, no matter how scared, if I chose to sit down and do my work and ignore my ideas and imagination), he would have suffocated and died in front our class. And we wouldn't have known. But I didn't say anything or took credit. I'm glad I had my class to encourage me to shout together as one voice, when I was too small. I hope that man is ok now, and I am satisfied with that. I bet not many people will take the time to read this, and sorry if you see this somewhere else one day and see some words were changed. I don't remember the exact words, but they are the same thing. So that's my story. If your words can save someone's life, say it with all your might, and observe everyone and everything carefully. Don't ignore the first flag and realize your surrounding. Not everything you that think is funny cannot be something serious. Thanks for reading and tell me if you are one of my classmates who remembers this memory from St Augustines. You may not have realised I said something, but you helped me have more courage to say what you feel since that day.

I have a story to share. One time my mom and I were going to go to basketball practice for the Special Olympics. Keep in mind that the night before I had an uneasy feeling about that day. I knew it had to do with the school event, but I still couldn't pin point what about the next day would bring. Anyways, on the way over there, my mom and I were passing an intersection when a car hit us on the side. Turns out they were a student driver learning how to drive. They meant to turn left on the turning lane, but instead went into our lane and as a result hit us. Nobody was injured at the time as it was just a minor fender bender and the damage kind of wasn't that bad. The only thing that really needed to fixed was the wheel alignment. But other than that, everything was fine. 😊

I had one of these moments years ago, we were on the road ( at the end of a motorway I think but idk ) I was like really young and I have car sickness, so while on the road, I obviously feel sick, even though I’m used to this, this time I wanted to stop the car. We get out of the car, after my excuse that I’m feeling ‘really really sick’ The one car that passed us during that moment in time, later crashed into another car that was driving toward us. Everyone was fine, I don’t remember if the ambulance was called, but they were all fine :3

This is my gut feeling story: One time it was one of my parent's friend's birthday and my best friend with her family was invited. Because it was at a restaurant next to the mall we decided to walk in the mall's gardens. It was around 7PM in the winter, a few days before my Birthday and we sat on a bench in the garden. My friend pulled out her phone and started Netflix because we wanted to watch a movie at my birthday and we wanted to see what movie. Next to our bench there was another bench that no one sat on. While my bestfriend was scrolling through Netflix I was looking around. Two men around 30 and 40 years old looked in my eyes and sat on the bench. They gave me a weird feeling. The bad feeling continued and I tried to ignore it because I kept thinking: "I'm a very paranoid person, It's late and dark, we're alone so that is why I am scared.", but the feelng wasn't ending. I tried not to look at them but when I did I saw the younger one looking right at me while the other one was talking. I want to specify that me an my friend were 12 an 11 at the time. That moment I looked at my friend and I said: We're leaving! while whispering so the men couldn't hear me. She asked why and I pointed at the sketchy men next to us. In a second she was up and walking away. We kept walking to the restaurant our perants were in. I looked back and I saw that they were still looking at us. We started walking faster and when we looked back again they got up and started FOLLOWING us while keeping eye contact. We started running till' we got to our parents. I don't know if it was paranoia or a gut feeling, but I honestly think it's better that I lisened to it.

ALWAYS listen to your gut even though you may think your crazy YOUR NOT!!! My best friend was murdered on Christmas Eve 2016. That day is a VERY HARD day for me. This year on Christmas Eve I was on my way home, & I had to run back to a store. I had this undeniable feeling to get in the left lane seconds after I did the vehicle that was in front of me ((In the right lane)) lost control of her car. Her, & I locked eyes. What happened is her turned horizontally, & if I hadn't switched lanes I would've went drove drive straight into her car at 70mph... She ended up being sling shotted into a guard rail. The guard rail went straight into her drivers side. I can't say this one hundred percent sure, but I FULLY believe I would've died upon impact, & she could've been seriously injured. Thankfully both of survived. I still think about this daily because I have a Son, & it would break my heart knowing how hard Christmas Eve is for me, & that it would be WAY HARDER for him. I'm a BIG believer in faith, & God gave me an AMAZING intuition. I would rather everyone think I'm crazy than to get myself into a "I wish I would've listened to my gut.." I do NOT wish to argue about my faith yes I know others will disagree, but this is NOT the time to argue. I respect others views so PLEASE respect mine

I remember driving to my grandma's house when I was like 12 with my brother mom and father. We were taking back roads bc grandma lives in the middle of nowhere. All of the sudden 2 of the back roads connected and there was a car in front of us. Mind you it was late at night. We seamed to be heading in similar directions. I think the other driver started to see we were coincidencely going in the same direction. They made a sharp turn, probably trying to throw us off. That turn so happened to be on the way to grandma's. My mom said "poor thing probably thinks were following them". At this point the driver was probably panicking. They made another sharp turn. That was not on the way to grandma's. To this day I still find it funny, the poor thing.

I've trusted my gut feeling once, I was walking alone over to my mom's friends house to mow her yard, 2 guys were about a half block behind me I thought that they we're going the same way but I called one of my online friends because she always picks up just to be safe. When she answered I looked behind me and they turned around already going the way they came from.

For some reason whenever I look at someone they automaticly just look back at me. I have no clue how they know someone behind them is looking at them. But they do and I have to quickly look away. It happends to me aswell, but the other way around, it happends all the time. WHY!?

ANOTHER STORYYY: So me and my family were walking back from walking the the gorcery store. Some people were walking in front of us and they switched side of the crosswalk because we were going where they were going. So I think they thought we were following them or something because at the other side they kept checking if we are following them ;w;

this is me and my friends gut feeling story: it was summertime and keep in mind we live in a very small town so in the summer we barely drive anywhere we always walk. we had heard about this new couple that just moved from our friends who had a creepy encounter with one of them but nothing happened. this couple lived right by the elementary school which is the area most of my friends lived too. one day we were walking to one of their houses and were across the street from the couples house we notice the man eyeing us and walking towards the crosswalk. i quickly tell my friend let’s call her ashley to pretend to call her mom ( we had no service) she does and she starts talking really loud so he could hear and asking her mom when she was going to pick us up. we are all like oh you’re just around the corner? okay we see you! and the man who was walking across the crosswalk almost to us turns around and goes back into his house. a few weeks later we are out at 9:00 at the elementary school because it has a big field and we wanted to play home free. we are in high school and it wasn’t that dark so our parents let us be out that late. we played for probably 2 hours and it’s really dark at this point. my friend ashley told us she was going to walk home (which wasn’t weird because we live in a small town where we basically know everyone) but she had to go through an alley to get to her house and there’s no street lights there so i suggest that our group should walk with her. as we are walking up the bus lane a car flashes it’s lights and i say hey isn’t that the same car that was here when we got here? and another friend makes a joke about how we were gonna get kidnapped. and right as that happens the car starts chasing us down the bus lane really fast. it chased us around the school 5 times! and we ran though 2 alleys and it followed us the whole time and our friends house wasn’t that close so it was following us for a solid 30 minutes and they were going fast. we finally get to the house and lock all the doors and we watch out the window and the same car circled the house probably 10 times and leaves. we told our parents and called the police but nothing came of it. the next day i keep seeing the same car circling my house and i don’t live by the elementary school so this car had to be following us before because i didn’t live by my friends. i mean it could have been teenagers messing around but i don’t think it was because the new couples car looked very similar to the one that chased us.

So one time when I was like 5 me and my dad drove all the way to London from our small home town to pick up my grandma for Christmas, When we arrived at my grandma's house it was like 11 at night and really dark. My grandma however wanted to start heading back now...but I wanted to wait until morning as we would be driving back along a busy motorway called the M4 at NIGHT! So finally she agreed to wait until morning....and the next morning when we woke up there had been multiple gang robberies of trucks on the motorway and crashes including some people having been KILLED! I don't know what would've happened if we did choose to drive that night- but I'm glad I didn't find out!

This story isn’t about me it’s about my mom. She was sunbathing in the back yard and my little cousins were riding the four wheeler around the house. She heard the four wheeler coming and decided to see where they were. They were heading towards her (speeding up) and she got up and flipped it over. It ran over her leg but if she didn’t get up it would have been her stomach. And yes my little cousins were not harmed they just ran off to annoy someone else.

While my mum was pregnant with me her and my dad were driving through a forest. We live on an island where there are many tiny roads and you never know when some animal is going to run out from the trees onto the road. Anyway, they were driving fast but all of a sudden my dad had a gut feeling that a bunch of sheep are going to run out onto the road, he's gonna stop the car too fast and my mum is going to have a miscarriage. He slowly stopped the car and only seconds later a bunch of sheep came running from the woods. If he hadn't have had that gut feeling i might have not been born.

I had a really bad feeling so I made an excuse that I had to get some important stuff done later, they listened and I felt a lot better, the next day I turned on the news and unexpectedly it was the hotel I went to and it caught on fire.

My friends mom was once in a situation like this (she was kinda like a second mom to me cuz me and my friends have been inseparable since we were born) so when me and my friend were young, she told us that if you think someone is following you, make 3 right turns so you go around in a circle, if they make the same turns then drive to the nearest public place (mall, restaurant, etc.) that you know is guaranteed to be crowded. Then go inside and wait for them to leave. She also told us an alternative if you are a kid or young enough to pass as a kid; if you think that someone is trying to kidnap u or something go to the nearest lady with kids and act like she is your mom. If you have a phone, try typing a short message on it about what is going on so she can quickly glance at it. If you don't have a phone, try to get out of earshot quickly and tell her what is going on as quickly as possible.

I've learned to listen to that little voice in my head. A few years ago, I was supposed to meet with some friends and go ride. (Sport bikes) I woke up and had this uneasy feeling, which I never get about riding. Just a feeling of dread and that voice was going off like an alarm: DON'T GO! DON'T GO! DON'T GO! So...texted my friend and made some excuse as couldn't make it. Got a text from him several hours later to call him immediately. Our other friend that went, lost control of his bike, crashed and got run over by a car and died.

This was the best, we were going out for a family trip w/ my cousins years ago. We took 2 cars since 1 wouldn’t fit us all. The driver in my cousin’s car was following my dad’s. After awhile, we lost it, and thought a similar car was it. We followed the car and it led to a house. They stopped there and didn’t leave the car. We found that weird. My brother checked the plate number and noticed it wasn’t my dad. We called them, and they confirmed it wasn’t them. My evil self laughed so hard that I couldn’t think about anything else rather than a van loaded with kids in the back was following a random person. The person must’ve panicked, while we were dying inside w/ laughter. I would never forget this incident.

My teacher was in a huge accident. A man with a family of six to take care of died. It happened because the first driver(semi) wasn't paying attention. My teacher saw it and turned his car and floored it. He was on the highway mind you with her daughter in the back seat. Both are fine now but my teacher stopped the accident from going further in the traffic and causing more damage.

I always listen to your videos when Something is on my mind. Thank you so much. Right now I've been a bit insecure about my teeth. One of my tooths chipped and another is loose when it isn't supposed to be. I know it sounds dumb to be worried about my teeth when I'm still young but it's high school ya know? People will be mean if they have a chance, espically with my teeth right now. I wish I could've taken better care of them, but in the past it was hard as it was to just eat and I wondered how I was still alive. I'm better now with that but now it is my teeth that I have to try to save before it's too late and people judge me based upon how my teeth look. Please pray that my appointment goes well next week. I know I haven't been taking care of them like I used too, but it was because I was trying to help my mental state first. I hope though that everyone else is having a better day than I am right now. And I know my problems sound ridiculous, but I hope maybe, by some hope, that they will be better in time for when we are able to go back to school.

When I was a kid, we vacationed on one of the border islands in southern NJ (my family vacationed there for decades before I was born, and has for the many decades since). This particular island is divided into two towns. Stone Harbor is the southern part of the island, where we were, and Avalon the northern part. The island is sometimes referred to as seven mile beach, so it is long, but just a few blocks wide. I mention this because it is a difficult place to get lost. Streets are numbered, and there is one main road cuts right down the middle for the length of the island. My dad and I used to walk to the shops to get ice cream at night, as a lot of people did. One night, when I was maybe ten (1975), we were returning to the house, and walking past this small motel - place is still there around 93rd street. There's a car parked on the side of that main road, not unusual certainly, with a guy standing next to it. Another guy was in the car. Not much traffic this time of night, call it 10pm, at least not back then. The standing guy comes up to my dad. He asks dad if he can tell him how to get to Avalon. That is an automatic radar goes up question, because the answer is drive twelve blocks north. it was a stretch to think that two complete idiots were sitting around a parked car in Stone Harbor wracking their brains to figure out how in the world they could possibly get to Avalon. An impossibly stupid question. My dad tells him drive a few blocks in the direction the car is pointed and he'd get there. (Dad later told me he knew something was up, he just didn't know what.) I knew what was up though - the guy had something mostly wrapped in a handkerchief, I don't remember anymore if it was fully behind his back or just dropped to his side, but I could see it and I knew my dad couldn't. The unmistakable checkered grip of a .45 automatic. My dad shot target, I had been to the range several times, and I knew damn well what that was. It scared the ever-living crap out of me, because I thought the guy was going to pot my dad right there on the well-lit sidewalk of a vacation town where anybody who was still out was basically out for ice cream. I knew the police station was a block and a half away, so I figured if I had to I could make a run for it, but I was afraid to run because I might trigger the guy to pull the thing and shoot. For that same reason I was afraid to tell my dad the guy had a gun - I figured he'd just shoot out of fear as a reaction. I was frozen with it. As it turned out, the guy lost his nerve. I assume they were looking to shake dad down for drug money or something along those lines. Maybe he realized dad knew something was up, maybe he didn't want to commit armed robbery with a kid standing there, I'll never know, but the guy hemmed and hawed very awkwardly, thanked dad for the directions, and backed his way toward the car. I told dad about the gun just about as soon as we were clear of them. For a few minutes I thought for sure I was going to lose my dad that night. Scary stuff.

4:00 Kind of related but I was taking a trip with my sister her husband and my nephew. I sometimes have moments where I kind of have panic attacks out of nowhere. As we were driving down from North Carolina to Florida I suddenly had a really really bad feeling and started panicking. I tried to stay calm and told my brother in law who was driving to please get off the road. He had just switched lanes when one of those giant inflatable water tubes that are pulled behind boats hit the whole side of my sisters car. Luckily we got away with only a dent in the front and side and the mirror being folded in (it closes and opens so it just closed). Because of it hitting our car it actually made the tube hit the middle road divider so no one else got hurt or anything. My sister still has that dent to this day.
