Soooo, this is my story and it actually happened TODAY. My mom was going to work today, and I got an awful feeling. I started crying and trying to convince her not to go to work. Im a very cautious person, and something inside was just SCREAMING at me to not let her leave the house. I stalled, tried everything. Later, I got a phone call from her telling us that she had gotten into a car wreck. I feel awful, like I should have SOMEHOW prevented her from getting anywhere near her car. ALWAYS trust your gut feeling!!! In my case, we lost a car, but you could be much more unfortunate and lose much more than a hunk of metal.

Here’s my Gut feeling story: When I was 9 I played netball and one week I was scheduled to practice at my school. While I was there my mother said that she would pick me up at 8 but I asked if she could stick around and watch me practice. I didn’t normally like my parents there because I didn’t like them watching but something told me that i needed them close by. So I insisted that she stayed with me she said she’d go shopping for food then come and watch. As she dropped me off I walked to the courts and realised nobody I was there I checked on the sheet and was supposed to be at the park netball courts instead. So I sat down and waited for mum to pick me up. As I waited I saw a red car pull up and a man got out. He didn’t look scary at all or dangerous but I felt so scared that I ducked behind and big pile of bark he walked around and nearly saw me but I made sure I was well hidden as he walked out of sight towards the garden my mum pulled out I ran to the car and told her and we drove to the netball courts as I told her about the man she said he probably wasn’t harmless and was just looking at the school. That weekend my brother was playing football and we were watching when I saw the red car at the stadium again I told my dad and he walked to the car to see if he knew the person (This was in a town so everyone knows everyone) As he walked to the car he saw the man sitting in the front seat watching the game as well and a gun sitting in the passenger seat. My dad called the police and they came and arrested him turns out he had been convicted of first degree murder 40 years ago. (He was about 60-70 years old)

I have a gut feeling story: Me,my sister, and 3 other cousins went to a community swimming pool. There was no one there but us because it was a Wednesday and got off because we have our vacation to Disney the day before. We didn’t realize we would be home so soon. BTW: this is still late May, so school was still in process. We then see a stranger walk in. He looked like he was in his 30s, but he came alone. He set his stuff down and went into the pool. Everyone had a strange feeling from this guy. I then said that I had to go to the bathroom. So I took my stuff and told the girls to follow me. We instead sat in the lobby and I looked out the window every once in a while to see if the guy left. After 20 minutes he leaves and we walk back home. With my mother on the phone. We don’t know what could have happened if we just kept swimming, but I’m glad that we took precautions.

*This was my story. I have never been more freaked out in my life.* I had just moved to a new area and lived there for around 5 months, so I had began to know the streets and just be able to get into a daily routine. It was my 3rd month there and I got a really weird feeling when coming home from work. It was indescribable but I knew something was going to happen. I was freaked out but a little at rest because the security guards walked us to the car. (I worked in a strip joint as a cocktail waitress so I had revealing clothing and there were alot of people that would randomly stand around the club) Down the street there was a supermarket and a gym. I would go to the gym often and had got myself a membership, then I would go to the supermarket and walk home. This was every Saturday and Sunday. But I would got to the gym after work on Monday Wednesday and Friday too. I was about a week in but this feeling kept getting worse. I don't know what it was but on the monday instead of going to the gym, I went to the self defense and pause for the classes everyday of the work week. It was around the fourth month and the feeling hadn't gone away but I could now throw a punch, flip someone twice the size of me over my shoulder. On the Saturday, I was meeting some friends at the gym but we were going to meet at the gym and not my house like normal. I walked out the house and I could feel my heart in my throat. I didn't want to bail on my friends because we were going to the movies after. I gripped onto my handbag and walked as fast as I could.suddenly I heard footsteps behind me and when I turned around there was a man in all black around 6 foot 3. I decided to jog but he decided to jog too. Then I crossed the road three times back and fourth which he also repeated. So I new he was following me. My friend began to call me so I slowed down, obviously still aware of him. I described every inch of him to my friend , eye colour ect. When I ended the call. He ran towards me and tried to grab me. Not my purse. What I hadn't noticed was a black van was there too. When he tried to grab me I flipped him over me and ran into the supermarket. Then called the police. It turned out that women who had been working in that strip joint had been going missing which is why I got a job there so easily. Because I had described him to my friend,who had wrote it down on her to do list(I don't know why she loved them so much but I'm thankful she did.) and the police officer the caught them. *I have now moved but I keep in touch with my old friends. Sometime we meet up.*

I actually have a story that I want to tell! So I was in elementary school and I was riding home on my bike with one of my friends in my neighborhood. We were almost to my house. I noticed an off-white truck that was riding on the street that we were on. There was nothing fishy about it, as i was in my neighborhood and cars drove by often. But I just got this feeling about the truck... I also noticed that the truck slowed down when we stopped. This was kind of unusual as there was nothing on his side of the road but fence. I told my friend that we should go around the block, just to be safe. So we did and we haven’t seen the truck since. I have no idea what would have happened if I didn’t go around the block. Nothing might have happened, but I wanted to be sure that there was no danger, especially because the friend I was with was like a little sister to me. So, moral of the story, listen to your gut!

I have a weird “trusting my gut feeling” story It was the first time I was going over to my friends house, and she lives in the woods. As soon as we pulled up I had a bad feeling about going near them. But later that night we were playing hide & seek in/around the woods when her dad comes outside and tells us to get inside ASAP so we all sprint into the house. He then tells us that there was a bear sighting half a mile from the house... a mama and her 3 cubs.

I get so many small gut feelings, usually to bring things with me when I go out. On multiple occasions, I’ll be about to leave, and then my mind will just tell me “bring that thing with you” for absolutely so reason. A lot of the time I don’t listen to it because I don’t have enough space to hold it, etc. but almost every time I’ll end up needing it for some reason or another, and I’ll think to myself “if only I had just brought that thing with me we wouldn’t be in this situation right now.” After listening to a lot of these stories and hearing a lot about these types of things saving lives, I’ve been trying to listen to my gut feelings more often. Edit: also one time I was playing Among Us with a few friends. I walked passed a friend in electrical, and my mind immediately thought “what if she’s the imposter” of course I dismissed it because I have literally zero evidence and I often have paranoid/anxious thoughts that are illogical (yay anxiety). Turns out she was the imposter. This happened a second time in the same playing session I’m pretty sure.

Ive recently had a gut feeling where i just felt like I NEEDED to get out of my room and check the windows. (I'm on summer break rn so im home alone) So i got up and the first window I checked was the living room window. There was a large grey van just parked in front of my driveway. I was able to see that there were people in the driver and passenger's seats but the whole back windows were tinted. Just as I looked outside, the person in the passenger's seat got out and walked over to our front yard. I quickly closed the drapes and went to another window( also overlooking the yard and driveway) and watched as the man walked around and peeked through a few windows. Just then the man in the drivers seat called out to the man and pointed at the window I was looking through. The man walking around walked closer to my window and as soon as we made eye contact he ran back to the van and they drove away. I didn't think much of it at the time but after calling my friends about it they told me that they heard of a bunch of 20-30 year old men driving around in a grey van looking for places to rob. I wondered why they chose MY house but then I realized that all the houses in my street had cars parked in their driveways except for mine. Because I was in the room all day and didn't go into the living room or kitchen, the drapes were closed so it looked like no one was home. I was seriously that close to getting robbed and possibly assaulted if I hadn't come out of my room at that exact time.

I had a substitute in my chorus class sophomore year. A lot of the girls in my class had a bad feeling about this substitute teacher, but I didn't think much of it. Fast forward to a few weeks, and the substitute ended up resigning after she told elementary school children that Martin Luther King Jr. took his own life instead of being assassinated and said other things I can't remember off the top of my head. Looking back on it now, my friends were not about not trusting this lady. I always listen to my gut feeling now.

I had a gut feeling once , Back in year 6 the school had a mini party in the local church , When I was walking back to my house I had a bad gut feeling like someone was following me , I ignored it though until I started hearing footsteps (keep in mind that it was like 10am and no one walks the same way that I do ) as I glanced back I saw a man in his 30’s following me , I stopped at the Neighbours house and nocked on the door . When they opened the door They immediately new what was happening so they let me in , I stayed in the house for a few minutes and walked out the door . A few days later I walked in on my dad watching tv turns out the man just got arrested for stalking ! Scariest day of my life!

I accidentally left my bag at his house in my friend’s room and when she came over, she brought it. I had my wallet in there which held $130ish dollars. I checked it. I only had $32 dollars left. I didn’t spend a single penny. I don’t know why but I just know it’s her dad. My gut won’t let me believe anything else. here is my gut feeling story: i was over my friends house for a sleepover. we had decided to go back to our old school since it had a playground that’s we liked to chill at. it was probably around 6 or 7 but she lived right across the street so we figured it was fine and we’d be home before 8. as we were walking up to the school we noticed some older kids playing in the court. we are both VERY cautious and paranoid people so we were getting a little concerned but brushed it off. soo we continued walking away from them and onto the other side of the school where we decided to sit down on the sidewalk right next to the school. so we had almost forgotten about the kids there and we were just relaxing and having a deep convo. then all of a sudden it starts to feel really odd as if we were being watched. we both had this feeling but knowing us we thought we were overreacting or something so we stayed for a bit longer. then we heard a noise from the side of us and got startled. these teenage boys were at the corner of the school listening to us. but we didn’t know at first and we still ran SOOOO FASTTT lmao. my friend ran SUPER fast so by the time she got around she was out of sight. something told me to look back and i did. when i looked back a saw a boy (maybe even two) and they were talking asking “why y’all running?” and they said something else but i forgot. keep in mind they were at least 15 or 16 and we were 12 but they looked pretty old. maybe they thought we were their age or something but all i know is that i’m glad we trusted our gut and got away from that awkward situation.

I remember when I was like 9 or 10 (1 or 2 years ago) me and my friend went to a park in my neighborhood, kinda close by my house. We were on the swings just talking when I spotted a black car in front of a house next to the park, it should have seemed normal but I got a gut feeling and something didn’t seem right. I immediately told my friend we had to go NOW. She was confused and said it’s fine, but then she heard the terror in my voice and got up and started heading towards back home. I swear when I turned around i saw a man in the driver’s seat of the car that kinda looked like a Taxi which was strange bc I’ve never seen a taxi in my neighborhood for all the years I’ve lived there, not even a Uber. It looked like the man was in his 50’s maybe, he had a dog next to him and a phone out in front of him. It was weird, I told my friend bc it looked like a taxi but why where there be a dog? There was no other human in the car so it was pretty strange. We both knew at that moment that wasn’t a normal taxi, so we ran home and we immediately told my mom, while we were running home the black car was following us from a distance, and when we got home the car stopped for a moment in front of my house and once they saw my mom was in the front yard, they sped off. We after telling my mom, we went inside to look out the window for a bit to make sure it didn’t come back, that’s when my friend turned to me and told me that on the side of the car she could see poorly spray-painted words saying “Taxi” so we looked up pics on google of black taxis and none looked like the one we saw. So glad I got that feeling, who knows what would have happened if we stayed at the park and if my mom wasn’t outside. It’s been at least 1 or 2 years since that happened and me and my friend never saw the car again.

I once had a gut feeling. I was in the 5th grade. I did what we called “ street patrol” meaning I would go and help kids who walked to school cross the street. The kids who were on school grounds were not aloud to cross without a patrol person standing in the crosswalk. I was doing my shift at the farthest crosswalk from the school ( it rarely had a lot of crossers, so I was just listening to music) when I saw a student coming. She was in 3rd or 4th grade. A promptly grabbed my neon flag and was ready to walk into the street, when I suddenly got the feeling that I needed to wait. “ STOP” I shouted at her, but she didn’t listen. I was not in the street yet, so she was breaking school rules by crossing. I was stepping into the road, against my gut feeling, because I didn’t want to get in trouble. This road was relatively wide, so it takes a bit of time to cross. As she’s crossing, it hits me again. “ step back” my brain told me. In a split second, I jumped back onto the curb. A car went speeding through at almost 60mph ( the speed limit was 15) The little girl got hit, but survived with a broken leg. We were given walkitalkis for emergencies, so I radioed in and called for help. The guy was coauthor with the CCTV cameras, but that little girl hated me for the rest of the year. I never patrolled that street after that.

Once my family and my cousins and aunt and uncle went on vacation, i brought my magic eight-ball and me and my cousin started playing with it, My cousin asked it if it was haunted and it replied yes. Once, I needed to go to the bathroom and I was hanging out with my friends and one of my friends said she knew a place where there was bathrooms and we were about to cross the street and we were next to a bus stop and i noticed a creepy guy, he went near me and my friend and he said “hey lady” to me according to my friend but I didn’t hear anything cause I have hearing problems and then he kicked me and I felt very scared. I know this may not be much to you but I was very scared, mind that a lot of people witnessed it but didn’t do ANYTHING about it. I was in a crowded area. I was also 11 at the time, this still scares me. I was so traumatized at the time.

I hate my own adopted sister That’s really scary.. I also have a story last year on summer vacation... I went to my parents background country like where they were born from... around at night while my family and I went to eat dinner at a restaurant. A random guy walking pass by me touched my arm when I was behind my parents and siblings.. I thought nothing of it because it just happens by accident.. whenever this happens I turn around to see like who did it and most of the time the don’t turn around because they don’t know that they did it... but this is the first time I saw the guy turned and looked at smiling... I was making eye contact and I was terrified.. he was laughing with his friend.. I suddenly got a bad feeling and right away told my mom... Let’s just say 2018 was not a good year for me.......

On the first week of June on 2019.... there’s this guy who texted me on insta... like normally I wouldn’t reply and block the message... but in the message he said “I see u everywhere at the school I go.. always wanted to come up to u and talk to u.. and the creepiest part is he didn’t know my name and so he checked it in the yearbook to find out what my name was... which was pretty creepy.. he’s a year younger than me and he’s friends with my brother... he also told me that I looked like his ex... I thought I did look like her but the more I look at the picture we look nothing alike... He didn’t even know that I had a brother who’s the same age as him.. so when ever people see my brother they know we are siblings and look alike which a lot of people said.... he said his ex cheated on with his bestfriend... personally I wouldn’t date someone who reminds me of their ex... I only saw him three times on the following school year because he kept saying I looked like his exi in the hallways like screaming out loud basically... first he said he wanted be friends but on the same day we texted he said “do u like me” and I said ”as a friend” I just got a werid feeling.. And I didn’t like that he called girls sluts like based of what they wear cuz I’m a girl and that hurts when the opposite gender says those things... he said he would buy me gifts and protect me and I wasn’t comfortable getting that much attention.. I’m very independent person so I don’t depend on people to do things for me cuz I’m 16 now and I want to do things by myself... this is the first time I had someone is very obessed with me saying that I will make him happy which is not true.. nobody can make u fully happy the only person can is ur self that’s what I told him... I also told him to go hangout with ur friends than with a random girl but he said “friends come and go” and I was like in my head the same with highschool relationships.. in my opinion I think friendships last longer than stupid highschool relationships... he thinks I can make him happy which I would obviously tried to make everyone happy but I know I can’t make people be happy only they can make themselves happy... he also asked to send pics and vids... I just made an random excuse which worked.. this whole situation made me VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.. I’m not used to having someone obessed with me.. this also happened in grade 8 which was again a year younger than me but he liked me but said some nasty things... I don’t know why random people drag me in their problems they can’t expect others to fix it like maybe give advice but they’re are the only can control what their doing.. he’s 15 now but like 2 months ago he was 14 and I know guys aren’t mature but I hope he realizes that nobody can’t make him 100% happy... he wasn’t really respecting my decisions when I kept saying no because he’s friends with my brother and he’s hiding this from him.. I feel really bad for my brother he doesn’t deserve this.. the dude said “we should date” after I gave him a long messages of what he was doing... he also wanted to my friends to know about this but not my brother which is so werid... like it’s so creepy he’s sees me everywhere but I never saw him after the three times.. it makes me sick...

I had a gut feeling some time ago, me and my friend were hanging at the park and it began to rain. My mother was out getting food so we couldn’t go back to my house, I remembered a plastic sheet near my house so we ran there got the sheet and headed back to the park, we hid under the sheet and just talked, I had a strange feeling we were being watched but I normally feel that a lot so thought nothing of it. She pointed across the field at a man just stood there in all black looking down, I stared at him and convinced myself he was waiting for a friend, he stood there for some time and I started thinking something was wrong.. my friend felt the same, we dropped the sheet and ran back to my house, as soon as we started walking the man moved a bit, we kept running until we saw my friends. We told them what happened and walked back to the park. The man was gone and one of the cars was driving away.. keep in mind we were at the park in the rain and there were no other kids there, he looked tall enough to be in his 20’s, I’ll honestly never know what could have happened that day. But I’m still glad I walked away...

I was sitting in the library and some told me that something off was about to happen, so I walked out of the library, and a guy in all black walked in, and within thirty seconds there was a bomb explosion in the library. FYI : this is a big library, children’s stories every hour, computer classes, people buying coffee from coffee shop, people reading, people checking out books, and parents and children waiting on others to finish getting the books from off the shelves. It was a Saturday, and that was the busiest day of the week, about 550 people died or were injured, if I would of stayed another minute, I would have been one of those people

About a year ago , in the summer time.I was with my father and step mother in a vacation.Their room was at 10th floor.But mine was at 18th floor.Everything was fine,the first week was perfect,but I was feeling like someone bad will happen.I didn't listen to my guts at first.But 4 days before we had to leave I made 2 friends, a girl and a boy.The girl was pretty normal but the boy kept giving me creepy vibes. First day being friends with them we decided to go swimming...But I was scared so I told them yes and after they left to their rooms I called the girl and told her to come over at my room and she did. Some time after there was a loud bang on the door on the other part of the hallway(that girls room). I was worried so I told her to go into the bathroom and stay there(she was 1 year younger then me). One minute after she got into the bathroom there was a loud Bang on my door too...I opened it slowly because I was so scared. When the door was barely opened a big force thrown me on the ground...Looking up it was the boy(so called boy that was our "friend", he was 2 years older then me)...He had a knife. He kept coming towards me and I was backing up. After ee got far from the bathroom I screamed "Run! And please call for help!". That's what she did. When the security came into my room I was stabbed in my leg 2 times and he was on me. Few hours later I was back in my room and a man came in my room, it was an employee from the hotel. He told me that I was lucky because at the swimming pool there was 7 others that got severely injured , they were badly stabbed. So I was happy that I saved the girl and now we are friends. Here's my story. It's not exactly just a gut instinct, more like a gut instinct mixed with a guardian angel. This actually happened not too long ago. I was on a walk at a park near my house when I decided to rest for a bit on a bench before continuing. I had been sitting there for maybe 5 minutes when I noticed a guy, I'd say maybe in his late 30's-early 40's, walking around the perimeter of the park, glancing at me occasionally. I didn't think anything of it at first as there's a track around the park so it was normal for people to walk the perimeter. Still, I instinctively went on high alert (I was in my mid-late teens at the time and I'm female) as I'd been catcalled and wolf-whistled at while walking at this park and to the park before. About 2 minutes later, I got a strong feeling to call my mom and have her come pick me up even though I lived very close by. Here's the scariest part for me. While I was waiting for my mom to arrive, I suddenly heard my late grandfather's voice (he had passed away the year before. I grew up with him living right next door to me so he helped to raise me.) say "Torrey, get up and start walking. NOW!" I immediately got to my feet and started walking in the direction of my house when my mom pulled up. As I was getting into the car, I looked back and saw the guy standing exactly where I had just been sitting moments before, staring at me. I got chills because I realized that had I not called my mom and started walking when I did, something terrible would have happened to me. I never go walking alone anymore. To this day, I believe that after he died, my grandfather became my guardian angel and has been looking out for me ever since.

During the summer I stay home alone. We have three small kittens that I (since there's no one else home) have to check on every few hours. I heard someone calling my name in the distance (we have a woods area in our backyard cause we live in the middle of almost nowhere) and got freaked out because I couldn't see anyone. I thought is was my dad and checked to see if he had parked at the side of the house (basically, we have a workshop in our backyard and my dad usually parks there sometimes to go to the workshop and my mom and brother park in our driveway at the front of our house), but I couldn't see my dad or anyone for that matter. We also live pretty close to the road, so I would've heard his truck. So, my first instinct was to run into the house as fast as possible, which I did. I grabbed the biggest frying pan to use as a shield or to even pull a Rapunzel and whack the crap out of the person who is trying to attack me and I grabbed a rolling pin to also use as a weapon. I'm Catholic, so I ran to my room to grab my scapular, just in case if this person had a gun and tried to shoot me, but I could find my scapular, so u was freaking out and in the verge of saying, "You know what? Screw it. I'll just pray until I die." So anyways, the person comes into the house (I had licked the door) and says, "Didn't you hear me calling you?" Thankfully, it was my dad. I could have whacked my dad in the head with a frying pan, and now that I think about it, I'm almost glad I couldn't find my scapular, because I could have severely hurt my dad if I had been more careless. Also, I was having a small adrenaline rush, so I could have hurt my dad really bad

I have a story! So my neighborhood has this café near the front of it, and I went there often. One day my friend Izzy and I were walking around there, and I saw this guy who almost looked like he was limping. It made me uncomfortable, so I whispered to my friend, “go into the road.” There was a sidewalk and the road, bushes separating them. So we stayed close to the side, but the bushes were pretty tall so he couldn’t see us. The moment he spoke you could hear that he was highly intoxicated. He said “who’s there!? You better say something or I’ll f***ing beat your ***”. We started running and screaming for help, and this lady pulled over and asked what was happening. Normally I wouldn’t get in a car with a stranger but something told me I should. She ended up driving us home and being really sweet. Long story short, the police were called but couldn’t do anything since he went in his house.

Here’s my story: This happened just now.. I was going onto an elevator to go up 3 stories, and as soon as I got I got into it and the door closed my mind started screaming at me telling me it was going to break. My heart started pounding and my head started hurting.. The doors didn’t open! My mom told everyone to stop pushing buttons, about 10 seconds later my mom pressed the open doors button... THEY JUST SHUT CLOSE AGAIN! She did that again and it closed again the last time she did it it opened my mom and my brother got out along with me, my sister and my dad we’re just starting to get out when the elevator doors closed on them ( they closed while they were in between the doors) they squeezed out and we took the stairs Definitely the scariest moment of my life..

My mom and grandmother were alone at home when a man with a bag knocked on their door. My grandma opened it when the man began talking them into buying a certain item. My grandma was interested and asked if he could come in to tell hey more. My mom got a gut feeling about he man and told her not to let the man in and call 911. The police came and handcuffed the mysterious man only to find he had rope, weapons and duct tape in his bag. Who knows what would happen if my grandma let him in.

I would have turned around and said "Hey bud, I know you're following me and you're probably planning something, so let me tell you some things. My father used to be in the military, my mother will likely gut someone who tries anything on me, most if my brothers have been to jail and aren't afraid to go back, both my sister and I know martial arts, and I have a lot of pent up aggression and I'm not afraid to kill you if you try to assault or murder me. I wouldn't hesitate to seriously fuck up or kill someone if they tried to assault, rob, snatch, or kill me because they forfeit their right to live when they decide I don't have one. If they see me as less than human and are willing to violate my basic human rights, I have no reason to respect theirs. So almost 3 years ago, I was at school and we had a substitute assistant (who would take us to lunch and recess) when I first saw him I immediately thought something was off. While at lunch a few friends and I sat in a different table then everyone else. The sub went up to our table where we were sitting, he staring whispering in our ears things like “I will find you” and “no one will ever know”. Let’s keep in mind that i was in 3rd grade at the time. When we got back to the classroom, he played a FNAF song and starting telling us a scary story. Half way through the story my teacher walked in and told him to leave. I heard he was fired and I roumor said he was also put in jail but idk if that was true. Nothing super bad happened but he left a bunch on 3rd graders scared for life. I don’t trust people anymore

I have one, too. I was at the public pool with my friend and i noticed, that a creepy, bald man was standing next to the water watching us and some other kids. I had a really bad feeling about him so i suggested to swim to the other side of the pool. When i told my friend why, she said she noticed him too. About ten minutes later, the man was caught by security, trying to drag a 13 year old girl to the changing rooms. Always trust your gut!
