This was so helpful and affirmed some thoughts I’ve had for myself regarding trust my body to let me know what is and isn’t working for me. I, too, fell down the testing and supplement rabbit hole for a number of years. It’s good to see this research. Thank you.

I did too. The supplements my and was giving me were making me feel worse. I got rid of all supplements and haven’t done anymore testing.

Thanks for this informative video. I am curious what probiotics are helpful to treat dysbiosis, what time should you take them and how long do they take to work?
@DrRuscioDC Жыл бұрын

I need to dive more into your videos. I have gallbladder stones. and i see that when I take bile salts , HCl and enzymes, bloating, burping, constipation goes away. Bile being so crucial for digestion, I don't want to depend on a supplement forever. Besides diet, any advice to keep bile flowing properly? Or is there any way to erode gallstones? I have not tried tudca that it is now recommended. I'm taking sunflower lecitin. Thank you!

I’m surprised seafood was on the list, shellfish maybe but I find fish to be so easy to digest and eliminate compared to chicken and mostly beef which kills me.

Hi Dr Ruscio You often talk about GI dysbiosis in the gastrointestinal tract. 🙋🏽♀️ How about a post delving into dysbiosis of the microbiome in the uninary tract, seeing that they are interconnected. Please. 😢 Trying to figure out why my daughter's one doctor also wanted to test her urine.

I love this topic. I suspect that i have leaky gut and i want to heal naturally! I did a sensitivity test and found out that i have a bunch of food sensitivities! The problem with sensitivities is that you don't feel anything wrong right after eating anything. It's not like an allergy or intolerance where your body gives you feedback right away! My sensitivities are related with the food I eat everyday like olive oil, olives, lemon, dairy products, eggs, honey, baker yeast (bread) cashews, and so on

How can you tell if you have dysbiosis? My doc did a stool test and told me I was lacking lactobacillus bacteria so he gave me probiotics. But I haven’t seen any improvement. I also did a food sensitivity test and removed all foods advised but I’m more constipated than I ever have been. I’m slowly reintroducing foods again all though my doc told me I wouldn’t be allowed. It doesn’t matter how many veggies or fruits I eat, I’m constipated.

Great question. I suggest you watch one of my recent videos about testing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j2arhJ6Yf7ygp9U I talk about the limitations of testing and a better place to start. Hope that helps!

@@DrRuscioDC Thank you. By the way, I also have Hashimoto’s. My doc also mentioned I had no infections. I’ve been tested for H.Pylori and negative. I’m just wondering if I’m doing more harm than good by removing food that I actually need. I was regular before going on AIP. My body also rejected L-Glutamine and Zinc Carnosine. I will check out your video. Thank you.

Magnesium citrate and also vitamin C supplements relieve constipation fast. However, you have to start slowly because if you take too much, it can give you diarrhea! You need to find the right amount for you

@@inthevortex-de1rh I did Magnesium Bisglycinate and it made me groggy which was turning into depression. Vitamin C has worked great. I’ll usually get it through food but also IV.
