With the small hitbox and low damage, getting a runner off a teammate or just a runner in general is painful, with the speed and randomness of the runner's pattern, also a crucifix is a very valuble resource so using it on a single runner downing your teammate is up to you I suppose

ngl the ability to use crucifix at 60% is much better compare to the new one because unequip it also come with a penalty which is lower the gauge by 20% if you purposely do it and 10% if you forced to like being grab or burn
