Btw, u forget to explain one of the basic i see many people fail at: when and when not heal When: -you and your team are stationary (like a holdout part or endless) just enough time to heal max your patient -behind a barricade or a safe place, u don't want to be blown by a bomber (it happen to me) -if your target if half or below, if their life is green, they are ok, if is yellow, try heal them, is if red, HEAL. THEM When not to heal -when you are in movement, example: most of catacombs of paris, most of san sebastian etc, (you will quickly fall behind and be expose, in most maps shambler are just behind the players so...) -heal in middle of the battle zone or how i call it "runaway zone". if is too close to the places most fighting occurs (near spawns of zombies or when they can perfectly grab u) if you want to heal someone in the runaway zone, call them by their name, or send a request, then walk back and jump, is a way to say, "hey, come here!" - is if green, no, its just annoying, you should prioritize people in yellow or red -both surgeon kit and box of bandages are useful, just in 2 diferent focuses • surgeon kit is good for "full on healing" surgeons, people who just want to heal (either for francs or passion) • box of bandages is good for "frontline medics" if you pass too much time in front you won't have time to heal everyone so with box of bandages you can let them $get back in the frontlines" sooner and in a safest way because the bandage is a faster animation and you can still move, you can even heal yourself if you are the only surgeon, but it heals less so people with life in red will need 2/3 bandages, in yellow 2/1 and green shouldn't use them

If you're experienced its best if you can tell who is or isn't one shottable by a zapper, some yellow- green players might just be low enough that a zapper one taps them so that is very important to note

A friend told me this but once the patient's health bar is slowly increasing if you press the space bar, cancelling the animation, the Regen still goes on so there's that. But it's up to the player to remain alive for the duration instead of having to babysit them until you fully heal them This results in quicker heal time (avoiding runners or bombers) and lesser resource use on a singular person. But also depends on the player to be half decent to remain alive for them to be fully healed

He forgot to mention the most crucial thing. Other medics are your enemies, if they heal you wont get heals and less francs

Playing Surgeon has not only reaffirmed my love and preference of playing support roles in games, but it also made me care WAY more about my teammates. Besides just because you should keep as many allies alive as possible, I feel way closer to my teammates because of it. In games like Battlefield (Which I adore, I still play 4 and 1 to this day), I just throw down my medic bag then just mindlessly click on downed teammates. However, with Guts and Blackpowder? The game makes me feel more attached to them, so much so that whether it be Hougomount or Leipzig, I will throw my life away if it means that either my team will make it to the next round or they will escape across the bridge. The voicelines and animation makes me feel more attentive to my teammates, I've noticed recently that when I play Surgeon, I notice their health WAY more often. I just feel closer and more attached to them. Sorry for the weird rant.

Quick thing with the Surgeon kit, it doesn't heal MORE, it heals FASTER (ie the over time heal from the bandaging animation.) Still very useful though!

honestly i love the surgeon not for the healing, but for the killing. so much better if you just play aggressive and fight alot and then maybe heal your teammates

Also extended surgeon kit doesn’t use up a supply while healing minor fender benders (about 75% hp) but it still counts towards the players healed

I just returned from a G&B game as a medic, and the others kept SCREAMING at me. "IT BCZ THE MEDIC DIDN'T HEAL" WDYM, I KEPT CALLING OUT TO YOU. AND THE OTHERS WERE AT GREEN HEALTH, "I'm bleeding" MY BUM. THERE IS NO WAY I AM GOING TO HEAL YOU, IN THE MIDDLE OF KAUB DURING THE CANNON TO BOOM THE GATE DOWN, JUST IN FRONT OF A BARRICADE THAT'S ABOUT TO GO.

I am an experienced surgeon and can tell you that when people do this it's because they either want an excuse for losing or they decided you weren't healing enough people. I get the second one the most often because people always ask for healing when their health is in the green and I only heal people with yellow, orange, or red health

To be honest,the bandage on their arm will disable them to heal much more afterwards,so heal them and when lose a supply,jump then repeat it,you eventually earn 10 or 15

1:29 Nation, not Regiments. While the medic classes are in their own special regiment, it's different than nation/nationality. You would be correct though if the regiment was for example a Hungarian Surg regiment under the French Nation. 1:34 Denmark, not Norway. Different languages and cultures. Also, one is considered West Scandinavian, the other being Eastern.

By completing the “untouchable” achievement :) Basicaly play priest, don’t get hit and use the cruicifix 5x, it’s the easiest method although you can complete this challenge by either doing that or either healing 5 people and not getting hit or kill 200 zombies and not getting hit, hope this helps :)

Who even wastes 3 bandages on a person? Just cancel at 2 or 1 if your in a rush (Medical supply main)

the surgeon toolkit specializes for this scenario fully heal someone will only take 2 and cancel after the tourniquet only take 1 so for a full bar you can heal 9 person if you can cancel which is 45 francs and 5 if you cant cancel which is 25 francs
