they were both trained in closed quarter combat, Snake's training in close quarters was better overall. He is also more experienced at fighting. Sometimes a good mix of weaponry, technology and experience takes it and wins it all. Subbed.

The knife Sam used was a karambit knife. I use those myself because I too prefer them before bayonet types and similar ones because they just go so well when used backhanded. Also you‘re actually pretty close calling it a sickle since that‘s what they were actually made for back then in Japan (for cutting rice to be precise)

Because the Tanker incident in MGS2 had Otacon find out that someone hacked the codec, but he was weirded out by the fact that they weren't doing anything. Despite getting rid of them, Otacon was still worried about sending the pictures of the Navy's Metal Gear Ray over the codec, so that's why you had to use the desktop computer on the tanker itself.

You seem to keep getting Solid confused with Naked Snake/Big Boss. Big Boss is actually missing his right eye while Solid Snake is not missing an eye but uses the Solid Eye eye patch like Sam uses his goggles except he never has to take it off to have normal vision. And your thinking about Batman vs Darth Vader or Darth Vader vs. Gandalf from Bat in the Sun with Superpower Beat down. The only ones from Star Wars that screw attack has had in Death Battle are Luke and Boba Fett.

ShinKyuubi Yes, I did confuse Naked Snake/Big Boss with Solid. I've only seen MGS3 thanks to my uncle when I was a kid, Naked Snake was so bad ass that it stuck in my memory XD I need to get my hands on a copy of the MGS games in order to know Solid a bit more.

Gutslove It's a good game series, though if you plan on getting the best ranking at the end of the game "Big Boss" it's gonna take a lot of practice and time to learn all the ins and outs of that particular entry in the series. I would also recommend some Splinter Cell games as they are fun as well, for me the last entry Blacklist is the best as it doesn't always focus so heavily on stealth that getting spotted leads to an instant game over as some of the earlier entries in the series do.

Sam was trained in Krav Maga a really brutal and efficient martial art style from Israel army but Snake is trained in CQC. Since CQC was developed by Big Boss and The Boss who was Russian, I guess the base of CQC is similar to the Systema martial art and this is more adapted to military situation and combat in the long run.

Louis-Simon Poulin-Goyer There is actually a real-life CQC system that the Navy SEALS use, it's just called CQB; or Close Quarters Battle. And the SEALS do train with Israeli Commandos, who also use Krav Maga.

I have a few suggestions for Death Battle episodes that you might enjoy. Deadpool vs Deathstroke, Boba Fett vs Samus Aran, and Goku vs Superman. You will enjoy that. You might want to check the entire DB library.

Sam Fisher does have experience in martial arts, particularly in Krav Maga. He isn't JUST guns and gadgets but he also has close quarters experience. However, the reason Snake won is because he is better at close quarters because he specializes in it more with his particular training. I like both series of Splinter Cell and Metal Gear. I can tell you like Metal Gear already :P, but would you be willing to give Splinter Cell a shot after seeing this Death Battle and your favorite character win?

Of course Snake won. Snake was genetically engineered to be the greatest soldier to ever live and Sam... wasn't. i hate to be a downer on this but the audio balance between you and the deathbattle is just too far off. your voice actualy comes through to loud and the battle to soft. if they were a little closer it would have been much more enjoyable for me. still for just having gotten started as a creator your videos are very pleasent to watch
