I got a buddy who used to live in Bloomington Indiana and used to watch them play in their basement. When he told me that I assumed he was friends with them but not so, they just opened their house up to anybody that wanted to come see them play and they blew the roof of the place every time

I have seen them live several times - most recently last Sunday, and I already cannot wait to see them again! They are fantastic. I only wish I had been invited to the wedding they played the night before. I also wish I had thought to ask them to play my own wedding!

Been a fan of these guys since 2005 or 2006. Seen them live a few times over the years. Every new album they release, I fucking hate them for like a month. It's too different! WHY? It's not even MBD! But then another month goes by and I'm listening to the album every day. Especially the case with Good Morning, Magpie. MBD is so unlike everything else I listen to these days. Crazy how much they have shifted over the years. I love that they're just doing their thing and aren't particularly concerned with making platinum record sales or something. All their music is so authentic, and unique from pretty much everything else. You almost have to give MBD it's own genre. After all these years, this is still absolutely my favorite song.

It's that face that tells you she is listening to the music so well, she's so into what they're doing, that she doesn't have time to concentrate on physical expressions. That's not an upset face, that is what an expressionless face looks like, when you're so deep into yourself and the music you don't notice what your face is doing.

The pitch of one's voice is dependent upon the larynx and the length of the vocal chords, as well as your breathing efficiency. I can tell you he does not force it..still has a high range too. The deep tenor also has to do with a relaxed larynx/vocal chords. I'm sure bourbon helps haha I agree, any fan should see them live

I play the double bass, and in all the photos I appear playing it, I have a face like this woman's. But that's because I'm like that, I'm a serious person and I don't need any man to be happy, it has nothing to do with it. I'm extremely happy when I play the bass indeed. Sometimes expressions say something, sometimes not.
