Once again, this is the type of attitude that give vegan and Vegetarians a bad name. You're not supposed to force people to change. Educate, appeal and provide: Educate people on animal cruelty, and show them health benefits of not eating meat Appeal to the crowd by showing them verified sources from a nutritionist/physician and peer reviewed journals, etc. Provide them with reassurance that the change doesn't have to be immediate.

Factory farming cow cast offs always hit me hard.... Cows can recognize their baby's cries and get distressed when they can't find them. Babies look for their mamas. Incredibly heartbreaking.

I know it's not the same (I'd love to do something like this too), but you absolutely can go vegan and choose to prevent suffering. The more people who go vegan, the more animals are spared from being killed and fewer are bred into existence for food. A Bailey , it happened for me when I was sitting at a red light and next to me was a cattle trailer and there was one little square opening other than the metal mesh that covered the rest of the crowded trailer and out of it poked the head of a calf . The look of panic and unhappiness in his eye punched me in the gut. Never again will I eat the dead flesh of animals
