Good review. I had a chance to go to one of his restaurants last year in Virginia, but, when I got there, it was empty. It gives me validation of why I didn't go there a last year. Guy might be a good tv host, but, it doesn't mean he can cook.

@@gailsfoodandstuff I just googled it. I was mistaken, it was a Guy Fieri Smokehouse in Norfolk, VA, not a Flavortown. It's a little far from Fairfax. The Yelp reviews are bad. It seems that they went from restaurant to a kiosk.

Guy Fieri’s prices are out of control ridiculously high even for LV. Good review on the quality of what you were served. Haven’t been to Flavortown but did go to Fieri in the Link a couple times.

I went to the guy fieri place at the linq a few years ago. I had something with chilli on and it was so bland it might have just been mince and onions, no flavour at all so I’ve not tried any of his newer places.

If you didn't complain they may never know there was a problem. The cook could've just forgotten to put a spice in or something like that. I wouldn't it or pay for it if it was seriously so bad. I mean I hate it when they throw things away, but they actually factor in all the waste into the price too.

Yeah, no. First the prices are a turn off, and that burger was raw. I love my steak rare but burgers gotta be cooked all the way. I knew when I saw the menu, Danny’s got reward credits or something. We attempted to eat there Sunday at around 4:30pm. The place was empty. There were a couple groups of people standing around outside that appeared to be waiting for tables. We walked up and asked if we needed a reservation and were told that we absolutely needed a reservation and without a reservation there would be a 2 1/2 hour wait. I mentioned that the place was empty and the host stated that it was empty, but it was about to be filled when he sat the people waiting. There were literally eight people waiting. Then, as we walked away, he acted appalled as he told his coworker how dare we expect that we’d be able to get a table without a reservation. He was a total jerk, and it was a total turn off. We went to Cabo Wabo Cantina instead. Glad that you ate at Guy’s and we didn’t! 😂

Yes! It was totally empty when we attempted to go as well! I also witnessed the host roll his eyes at another customer as they walked away from the hostess stand as we walked up. Totally unprofessional!

I did not like my experience here. And the served entree had items included but not stated on the lengthy menu description. I didn't plan on ever returning, especially at the price and weird wait staffing experience when we were there.

Against my will I have been to a few group meals at Guy Fieri restaurants and they all SUCK! The fish and chips in this video the color looks like the oil was getting old and I did not her a crunch when biting into it as I heard when you were at other places at half the price. For those 2 small fillets Guy is charging $16.50 per piece of fish!! I guess the price of the hydrogen pyroxide he uses in his hair went up. Thanks for tellin it like it is Danny!

They are giving too many fries. They should offer unlimited fries upon request. Get the first portion and if you want more, they'll keep bringing them. That way maybe they'd stay hot too. I wonder what makes that a crispy cheeseburger? Char or crispy cheese? I love a cheese skirt. If I could I'd order multiple cheese skirts.

This is outrageous. Nachos for $27, burgers for almost $30, a brownie for $17. Another shining example of corporate greed. Slap a celebrity chef's name on a restaurant and that's supposed to justify ridiculous prices. The really sad thing is that there's no shortage of people stupid enough to pay these absurd prices.

Always wondered how Overinflated the prices were at a Las Vegas Celebrity Chef Restaurant, now I know and I was correct w/ my guess . . . . Overinflated Prices. A $34 Dollar Bacon Cheeseburger or a $27 Dollar Mac n Cheese Chicken Sandwich. Even a Cesar Salad is $21 bucks, No Thanks !

@@dannythemedic That's an easy guess, even if you've not been there. I worked for Alaska Airlines for several decades and w/ the Free Flying perk, have been to Vegas a couple of dozen times by now. I've got relatives and friends out there as well. That said, the majority of my visits were spent taking advantage of the Best Motel/Resort, Car rental & Food deals to be found. My best efforts could get me a Suite or Resort room, Luxury car and Gr8 Eats for just over $30 bucks per day. What it's taught me is how to use the many Travel websites to Gr8 advantage and to avoid staying directly on "The Strip", which doesn't often produce the best Dining or Gaming deals. "Downtown" or "off Strip" locations compete heavily for those who congregate at the central Strip locations, so I take advantage of that. There's a Ton of websites and YT Channels dedicated to exposing these bargains and you can almost always find Groceries that are just as Tasty as the celebrity named joints, if not better. Off Strip is where all that exists.

​@@dannythemedic Hey Danny, yea, Ima sucker for Vegas. If ur not into pushing a slot machine button all day, the place makes for a nice 3-5 day break. I'd typically grab a room, or several, for the dates i wanted to visit, all w/ a 24 hr cancelation guarantee. Most of the popular Travel websites will contract to sell X amount of rooms for a given Hotel/Resort and the often find themselves near the closing dates w/ too mamy rooms left to sell, and thats when they dump their prices. I'd wait until just a few days b4 my arrival and scour the same sites for a price dump an usually find a few. So you just book the better last minute deal & cancel your guaranteed refund room you booked months before. If you dont find one, you've still got options. Cars are different, the further out you book one, the better deal you'll get. That and sometimes I'd book w/ several of the rental companies as there weren't penalties for last second cancelation, that way you got fewer "substitute" vehicle's which were usually a downgraded car. That and the old folded $20 dollar bill under your Driver's License on the handoff usually gets some kind of upgraded room or car. Hey, it's Vegas !

I've eaten at one of Guy's restaurants in Vegas, not that one, but a different one. Anyway, I'm not a fan of the plating set up with the cutting board and whatnot. Makes it all so messy! Just give me a regular plate! Lol. Besides his menu and restaurant decor are generally the same at all his restaurants I think. Kinda boring lol.
