Your voice and playing are as rich and nuanced as ever, and I dig the balance of styles between you and Joe, both masters of what you do so well. I heard you in Chicago at Buddy Guy's Legends ~15 years ago - our friend Tamara Miriam brought me to hear you - and I knew when I heard you that night (you played your Tele if I recall) that you were headed toward greatness - because you already "had it" back then: groove, feel & soul in your playing and vocals. Please come to the Detroit area as soon as you're able. I'd love to come hear you, and if you tire of hotels you absolutely have a comfortable place to stay with an old friend of an old friend.
