❤ Guy is just getting better as he gets older! This song is so different to his usual pop songs, harking back to his gospel singing days, but that is Guy, he likes to mix it up now and then. 😂 Guy has to be pretty much on the top of the very short list of Idol winners internationally that still has a thriving and massive career so many years after his win, think only Kelly and Carrie may rival him on that list. For Australia, Jess Mauboy is up there too. As for American Idol contestants…totally agree with your view on Adam (love, love, love Adam, and same, have been a fan since his Idol days!) and Fantasia, but you need to add Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry + probably Iam Tongi to that list. ❤ BTW Nick, I’m so happy that you are a fan of Aussie music and that you are giving our artists recognition, support and spreading that influence to your followers which gives our artists a bigger audience and helps to ensure that they continue to succeed! ❤❤❤

This is Guy's latest single. It does seem to have shades of some other song or songs I've heard - can't put my finger on it. But I find it an incredibly catchy song and as usual, the lyrics are great. This was Guy's last The Voice series - he was a judge with Adam Lambert, Leanne Rymes, Kate Heideke-Miller. He is intending to spend time now writing and recording.

Love this song! And yes, Guy’s voice is insane! I have to disagree on the top singers in American Idol history, but that’s ok. Lol. To each their own. I would include the two you did, but I’d also add in Kelly Clarkson, especially given how she sings now. She’s only gotten better over the years.

Love Guy doing this song. About the only other people I can imagine doing this are Chris Stapleton or Teddy Swims, same wheelhouse. The judges were Guy, Adam Lambert, LeAnn Rimes and Kate Miller-Heidke (an Aussie you reviewed years ago when she did Eurovision, not one of your favourites).

@@Rel1369 yeah honestly, people on these singing shows are better off not winning. Especially on the voice,the show doesn't do anything to further their career, it's just that they are given the platform to grow their following. The show is always about the coaches and never about the contestants and this is exactly why no one becomes famous on the voice

Absolutely! Yes, by the fan base, judges and pretty much everyone else Adam should have won Idol that year but look at him now…he has had the last laugh, nobody gives a damn about his sexuality, only about his voice, performance and personality! Adam has had an awesome solo career over the last 15 years, is lead singer of the one and only legendary Queen - they waited nearly 20 years after Freddie to find the perfect person to lead, and they found it in Adam, and he just seems to be such a lovely person. So yeah, Kris who??? 😂
