@@za_cpt The colonial mentality never went away. And why would it? The west has continued it's policies of world domination and hegemony over the "lesser" peoples and countries unabated for centuries. They just got smarter at hiding it in the modern age. And they also had the audacity in the early 1990s to imply that history has somehow ended and the arrogance to somehow believe they will always be the ones and THE ONLY ones calling the shots on this planet. So glad that the world, after the pharmaceutical lies pushed by the west and their "international" controlled institutions, the hypocrisy and lies on the war in Ukraine and the even more blatant double standards and even more egregious lies with the atrocities committed by the collective west in Gaza/Palestine has FINALLY started to wake up and rise up. With more and more Global South countries telling the west they're done being bullied, stolen from, lectured and undermined by them at every step. What a great time in history to be alive!

Western countries exploit resources in the earlier stage and when they are developed enough, they start to enforce rules. And when a small country starts to use these resources, they start to cry about ethics and climate. They must be penalized for what they did to the climate during the industrial revolution and must pay for the development of small countries.

@Ninsuna
@Ninsuna 9 ай бұрын
@@hevnervals Most reporters today only challenge those who aren't in lockstep with "approved" narratives. Western journalists used to be true journalists. Now, they're just shills for certain political elites and corporations, promoting lies if truth contradicts "the agenda." Journalism has become sociopolitical activism, and a joke. At 72, I've observed that game long enough to have seen it happen. Operation Mockingbird never stopped, and western nations outside the US have their own versions of it. It's sad to see the public so bamboozled.

It is so vastly unfair for developed nations to criticize developing nations for producing oil when they massively benefits financially from more than 100 years of oil exploitation before we take climate change seriously. In terms of forest area percentage, UK and US are much much lower than countries such as Guyana and Suriname. Instead of criticizing Guyana, these westerns countries should focus more on reforestation like what China is doing.

You dont understand. What you see here is their whole point. These are fake "interviews". Journalism was never their goal. They are running a propaganda machine. What you see as "questions" here are actually statements disguised as questions. Questions were designed with intent to demolish reputation and perhaps cause instability. It seems to me theyre trying to prevent third world countries from climbing up, while they conveniently ignore the thousands of millions of barrels of oil equivalent they themselves are extracting, every year. So, the use of the word hypocrite is actually very fitting. BBC has stopped doing news, theyre just propaganda
