I saw one of those anacondas on the road in the Iwokrama jungle. The pick-up brushed it as it attempted to cross the road. It retreated to the roadside in a coiled heap. I had my camera, but wasn't daring enough to reach out the side of the pickup for a snap.

The captured [old] record was 29 feet. I've seen a carcass, burnt in forest wild fire, 'he' was about 38+ feet. An experienced anaconda can battle a caiman in water and swallow it , head first.
