Ingredients:
1 pk chowmein noodles
4 tbsp vegetable oil
1 onion, sliced
1 pk carrot,shredded
5 small pepper, sliced
1 cup cabbage, shredded
2 tbsp smoked paprika
4 tbsp soy sauce
4 tbsp hoisin sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook chowmein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside ( or refrigerate overnight)
In a wok or large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
Add sliced onions and peppers and Sauté until aromatic.
Add cooked chowmein noodles to the wok.
Pour soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil over the noodles. Toss everything together until well combined.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Continue stir-frying until the noodles are heated through and coated with the sauce.
Serve hot and enjoy your Guyanese chowmein!
