Guyanese Fried Bake / Shrimp Bake / Floats

Ingredients
4 Cups All purpose flour plus 1/2 cup for dusting
4 Tsp baking powder
1/2 Tsp salt
1/3 Cups sugar
1 Tbs butter
1 1/2 Cups room temperature water
4 Cups oil for frying
Shrimp filling
1/2 Lb shrimp
1/2 Onion
5 stems cilantro
2 Stem scallion
1 Tsp green seasoning
2 Tbs oil

But when I was little, I remember my grandma used to make a sweet cassava bake with eggs, lots of cassava, essence, sugar, and milk inside of the dough. It was a rich bake, and when fried it was almost like a donut. Any advice you can give on how to make sweet cassava bakes would be greatly appreciated! :) I have tried to make it on my own but I am never able to get it to roll out properly and end up having to drop it into the oil like gulgula, lol.

I noticed you didn't use yeast for this fluffy bake recipe and it still came out fluffy. Is it not needed then?

Hi hun yes no yeast is used in this recipe it's not necessary the baking powder will give you amazing results

Hi love yes u can put it in the refrigerator I wouldn't keep It longer than 24hrs because the color will start to change
