Guyanese Salt Fish Recipe
Ingredients:
2 lb salt fish
1 onion finely chopped
3 stem green onion
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon vegetable seasoning
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon time
4-6 tablespoons of oil
2 tablespoons celery
2 wiri wiri pepper
Recipe:
1. Begin by soaking fish in water submerged for 30 minutes. Remove any skin and bones and then split fish into pieces and boil for 20 to 25 minutes and drain.
2. Fry fish in hot oil for about 5 to 8 minutes until golden brown remove
3. Add oil fry onion, green onions for a few minutes then add tomatoes cook until soft
4. Add seasonings and cook for 2 to 3 minutes. Return Fisch to parts and combine.
And that’s it for simple and easy step for this delicious meal that can be paired with bake, roti, dhal and rice, amping many other things!
