15:25 I used to do work as a production editor, which involved laying out the text in books prior to publication. When books are published, we don't just upload a Word Doc and hit print, we actually go through the whole book doing edits line by line making sure words aren't getting split at the end of a line in weird spots or being left as orphans at the end of a line, stuff like that. While someone was in the file doing checks like that, it's totally possible that they accidentally introduced another little typo while doing the layout edits.

Hey! As a headphones girlie, I'd like to ask...new mic set up is great but there is a slight hint of feedback/fuzz in thr background. You may not have picked up on it while editing but its okay! Doesn't take from the video at all, I'm just an audio nerd so I could pick it up. Are by chance using XLR or an audio interface? If not; I'm curious about your audio set up. Maybe next time just have the gain lowered a bit or record some white noise to filter out any appliances/electronic feedback. Its an easy fix, but like I said, only noticable to a nerd and does NOT hinder your video quality substancially. I can't wait to see your channel grow, I'm loving the videos so far and you've helped me pick up reading again. Edit: its more comparable to TV static, very minimal hum; you sound great otherwise!

hilarious that edward is so concerned with Bella being around new wolves that might be dangerous so he forbids her from hanging out with Jacob.. yet he invited her over to the cullen house around Jasper... and we all know how that ended lol

I think Edward tried to jerk his chain but because he's a vampire he didn't have the blood pressure for it to really... work...

My favourite part about Eclipse is confirming the canon that Twilght Saga and my favorite movie, Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter, are in the same universe 😄 If you haven’t seen ALVH you need to because it’s spectacular cinema and completely flawless of all plot holes and 100% realistic as it’s basically a documentary.. but yeah Jasper was out there fighting the former President of America
@sim7714 ай бұрын
But totally with you, why does not one say “Btw Jasper isn’t a confederate anymore” like CLEARLY we need to know this information Ms Stephanie

It’s been a while since I read these books, but I think it was established in twilight that Edward is about 6’1-6’2. So taller than you were thinking, but your point still stands considering Edward was also described as having a lean/slim but somewhat muscular build. Jacob is still a head taller and built like a body builder. My only explanation for why only would bet against Jacob is that the Cullens creeped out the Folks High students so much that it gave them the impression that Edward might get psycho when he gets angry. Crazy can sometimes win out against strength!

Hear me out, I know the Robert Frost poem is in Eclipse and not Breaking Dawn, but I feel like it fits so well with the whole vampire transformation process. Like the first ‘end’ of the human life, or at least the beginning of the end, is described to be like being burned alive. Then the second end, or the true end, is the transformation complete. The warmth and softness of a human body has been turned to something as cold and hard as…ice 🥶

Hey Meredith, I'm loving these videos! For the sake of my sanity, I'd like to think that any young boys that read the SA in this book look to Edward's reaction and learn from it. While I would've loved to see more than two people pissed with Jacob, a boy should feel uncomfortable just reading the scene, knowing how much this affects the main character, and her boyfriend is clearly pissed as well. Through Edward's reaction, it shows that it is NOT ok to kiss someone without their consent! Then again, we're talking about young adults here and they tend to learn from a larger source and, well, everyone's acting like it's no biggie aside from Bella and Edward!
@harmanlesli4 ай бұрын
It wasn't that the kiss was a surprise one. It was done after being told she was with Edward. She even tried to push him off and he ignored it and kept kissing.

I turned off Avatar Last Airbender cause I can’t watch the last episodes without staying up all night. And saw that you posted yayyy!! Your skin is so glowy and flawless - your video lighting is great 😊👍 i think for your background, a lot of it is out of screen so maybe lowering the setup a bit so the art and such fits inside the frame? Maybe also splitting up the pink from the yellow colours. I don’t mind your background though, i’m digging the star lights

13:54 maybe ppl think Edward would win on a fight with Jacob bc vampires have a effect on humans that makes them feel scared yet charmed (survival instinct) Humans unconsciously feel vampires are depretador

I never liked Jacob because he knew about imprinting and even told Bella about Sam and Leah and how Sam just dropped Leah for Emily
@harmanlesli4 ай бұрын
Exactly he wanted her to boost his ego and one up the vampires. Also he's a teen he was thinking of sex too. He didn't care if it emotionally destroyed her when he found his imprint.
@samoyed789528 күн бұрын
I've always interpreted the poem to reflect the idea "the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference." Basically, we expect the worst thing to be someone getting angry and lashing out at us furiously, its just as hurtful (if not more) when the someone becomes cold and indifferent.

The Volturi are also so big because Aro has Chelsea who can break and create emotional bonds between people so he uses her gift to head hunt people and also Corin who can make people feel content with their situations who makes sure Chelsea stays. Pretty sure that’s mostly illustrated guide lore

Lighting is good. It adds a charm to the shot composition. Here is a question i always wonder about and it comes from the whole vampires cant have babies thing. If vampires are supposed to be undead or something equivalent to that, how are all those parts working anyways. The hearts not pumping blood to the dick for Edward to get an erection, so how is that happening. Thats the question every time i think about vampires having sex.
@sim7714 ай бұрын
I think there’s a whole fan theory about this where it’s the vampire venom acting like blood. People really did their analysis on this 😂

I didn't find Wuthering Heights confusing to read, I'd give it a shot. I cry every time. Or if it it is intimidating, the newest version of the movie is very very accurate. Sorry, I love the book so much I want everyone too 😅
@wrtshark_694 ай бұрын
Yess!! Seconding this! I adore Wuthering Hieghts (actually read it because is was referenced so much in twilight) it's really not as confusing as summaries of it make it sound. Really worth it too.

I always thought of the poem as fire being Edward. The passion she feels for him, the intensity of her love for him. I saw ice as Jacob. The cold because their love would never get fiery or passionate at least from her end. But she's kinda saying like 🤷🏼♀️ meh yeah I guess I could marry Jacob if I had to marry someone else. I realise it's not the most sensible theory 🤣 but that's what I thought as a teen and it was only you saying it made more sense for cold Edward to be ice 🤣 and warm Jacob to be fire even if the preference for fire wouldn't make sense.
@meredithnovacoАй бұрын
no your theory makes sense actually!! its just two different ways to look at it, and tbh their emotions make more sense for stephanie meyer to reference so your theory might make more sense than mine!!
@zuzanagarelova8113Ай бұрын
we wanted more of Rosalie from her life: taking care of her brothers, the pressure of marriage, Vera, Royce cold aha moment, falling in love with the idea of love where she met Dr. Cullen, the detail of the assault had in the book for empathy, the humiliation of Edward, the transition from trauma, anchoring in the family, dealing with the family from her trauma, the tension of Edward no sibling relationship he has with Alice, revenge motive- she won't hurt anyone anymore, saving Emmet, no miraculous falling in love, that's stupidity for her psychology. The relationship with Emmet was definitely a long process, we wanted to see that path to love, trust, working with a broken woman, and intimacy. Very lazy writing from a story with huge potential.

My take on why it’s not mentioned about the confederacy again is to lay the foundation of how he got in the army while lying as a 16y old n gaining his gift the charm n feel ppl out. (Southern hospitality- with the power to command army) then he ends up in mexico just to do the same thing. It’s foundation of who and where he’s from.
