I’m here to get some tips for DIY pedicures. In the past I’ve pretty much ignored my feet, trimming the toe nails only. I seldom if ever get pedicures or paint my toes which is completely opposite I feel of the majority of the women in America. However since starting to watch your channel I’ve started putting oils and creams on my feet and nudging back the PNF. I will say the PNF on my great toe adheres so tightly to the nail plate that it doesn’t move. If I try to push to aggressively it gets tender so I just do it gently and hope over time it improves. Anyway love your channel Anna.

I always thought that especially my big toe has trouble with ingrown nails, but watching your videos for some time, I think it’s really just this small sharp edge that is troubling me. I always thought filing my nails very straight would help, so the edges might not cut into my skin, but now I’m wondering if I shouldn’t get this pointy nail clipper you use to get rid of these tiny little sharp bits at the edges. Your advice is great - I started with UV nails at home (not lengthening, just having a nice nail polish that stays on) and now my nails look so much better with all the knowledge about oil, cuticle, not cutting nail folds etc ❤ thank you!

I was just watching for that satisfying cuticle remover and gunk digging but this has served as a genuinely helpful reminder to keep bugging my boyfriend to get his feet done by a professional. I am not gentle (I've tried, but I'm just naturally heavy-handed and a perfectionist) and don't have proper tools, disinfection, technique and his feet need *help*. For comparison, I regularly watch horror stuff and they're still the scariest things I've seen. 😂 Jokes aside, being a retail worker means his feet are callused and dry as all get out and never prioritizing taking care of himself means he never scrubs his feet super well. His cerebral palsy also means he rarely clips his fingernails let alone his toes and he can't balance as well as most because of the CP either. I've recommended he sit in the shower and scrub his feet better but...see above point about not taking care of himself. So maybe I can show him some of your videos and he'll finally stop being a goober and get some better help!

Please help! My nail grows with a peaked ridge down the center (almost like a v shape) and it cracks as it grows out. I try to buff the ridge smooth but that just weakens that area. and it will split anyway. I have No idea how to fix this.
@TheSalonLife7 ай бұрын
You probably can’t because there might be a permanent change in the matrix area where the nail is being made. Don’t buff it, it only weakens it as you know

@@TheSalonLife hi there. I have a fingernail like this and used a product you showed on one of your videos: OPI Repair Mode Bond Building Nail Serum. I used it as directed on the bottle. No idea. Spa usually means like delux or something. Upgraded. With masque, scrub and longer massage maybe? But yes, the spa word is overused. In Europe Spa means a facility with water treatments.
