I'm used to larger, corded routers kzbin.infoUgkxfQ5_mgwq6PcudJvAH25t-I4D-3cTPz4z so this was a different experience for me. Basically, this is an incredibly sweet machine, fits well in the hand, etc. It has slightly less power than I'm used to, but that's understandable. Maneuvering freehand takes some practice. These days, it's especially nice to be able to avoid power cords. This is above the level of a hobbyist but below a pro level.

I almost skipped this video because I've seen so many bad "# cool things" videos. But I'm glad I didn't, because you've got me seriously looking at router tables differently. As much as I've seen them used in KZbin videos, I haven't really see how *I* would use one, and this shows me. Thanks!

Note- if using solid wood panels do not glue the panel to the frame and be particularly careful not to get glue on the corners of the panel when assembling the frame. This is because the solid panels will expand and contract with changes in humidity and must be free to do so. The panels are apt to split if not free to move.

Nive Vid Guy. However; most of us don't have all those fancy tools you have. Well let me rephrase that. Most of us got some-type of router table, table saw, bandsaw, planer, Drill Press. Not even close to having all those gadgets called accessories that you have. Would be real nice if you told us if you bought them yourself or were sponsored. Most of us , at least me, am awed with that stuff. I like it. However; that is wishful thinking on my end. I have a lot of Incra stuff in which I love dearly. It took me quite a while to budget that. hahaha...Hope that you can take it down a notch or two and come down to us poow folk. Hahahaha. Love you vids though, and you are very talented to say the least! I wish you would spend a little bit more time in showing us simpler steps when you are describing little tweaks here or there. Or at least tell us which video you might have explained something similar relating to the particular tool you are using...Thanks again, and glad to be a subscriber.......God Bless....OH! P.S. I would love to buy a shirt. Only I have to have a pocket in them. I won't wear one without it. Let me know when/If you get them.

I router small 2x3 pieces of wood only 3/16th deep. Its just the end that I cut out. So its 1x2 inches by 3/16 deep, shaped somewhat like an Omega ( The omega sign or horse shoe shape stays) sign on one end of this wood. Its such little cutting I use a drill press. Also because I need to see what I am cutting. I been using a 1/4" straight bit in the drill press. It works ok but would like to try a router and table. How would I do this with a router and router table? I cant see the cutting, to know how to shape the Omega sign ( again its the closet way to describe what shape I am cutting). The depth is very important. . Making a jig would be difficult and the depth will change with different pieces that I cut. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

I have an old table router I inherited from my father-in-law. It doesn't have the possibility of having a bearing on the bits. It has a 1/2" shank and I have to put spacers to get it to about the right height, then there's an adjustment handle and lock-down handle to fine-tune the height. What do you recommend for doing the plywood/hardwood job on this type of router?
