Guyver Episode 13 The Tragic Enzyme II

I believe in those last moments, there was a struggle going on between Mr. Fuki and the Zoalord. A struggle that Mr. Fuki ultimately won that lead to the Enzyme making a critical mistake. Which gave the Guyver Unit the opening it needed to finish the Enzyme off. In short I wanna say that Mr. Fuki sacrificed himself for his son.

This I feel is a massive improvement over the OVA version. Not just for the voice acting but it also feels way more earned here. In the OVA we only ever saw Sho’s father in the second half and we barely get to even know him or get a sense of what his and Sho’s relationship is even like, just the bare minimum. In this series though, we see his dad at the very beginning of the series and gradually we see these two’s relationship as it goes on. The OVA though feels like it didn’t plan on having more episodes so they didn’t bother even introducing show’s father until it was convenient.

I feel the same. It made it way more impactful with the dad, it seemed very rushed in the OVA. That and how they kept the The 5 around for longer seems right too.

The 12 episode ova was rushed on the last 6 episodes, so they ended up rushing most of it. Sadly the quality only came back at the last episode.

Animation has also evolved significantly since the OVA series. The OVA version for this episode also has the worst animation and voice acting. The animation is too choppy. TV anime is the best. And it's tragic and sad😢
