I could not agree more literally finished watching this again but with a load of episodes iv never seen before, not sure if its because I'm in the uk but there was a ton I had not ever seen before, loads of episodes, which was great but there is still so much more to see, its left wide open for much more, Guyver is one of the very best top tier Manga/Anime's out there of all time and for them not to continue animating it AGAIN, it was tough the first time with 12 parts, they need to continue this project.

I loved the old series , but this one is as good if not better. No dodgy voice overs on this one, and there is a lot more to the story. Like the original though it leaves it all a bit up in the air, but still a great series. Thanks for posting.

In my opinion the original had better pacing, music, and animation. They also knew how to hype up moments, like when guyver 3 saves sho from team 5. However the new one sticks much closer to the manga and actually gives more characterizations to some of the villains and heroes.

Decided to give this a go after being a fan of the ova back in the 90s. Overall I’d say not that great. Everything in this seemed very lacklustre in comparison. The ova has such an epic feeling. This soent much of its time on character interactions and the ova spent more time in the action and yet somehow I felt I actually cared less about the characters in this. Wish they had continued the ova for more episodes everything about it seemed just right. The pacing, storyline, animation and even the voice acting. Only thing that let it down was that it never got finished.

I prefer this dub far more than the OVA’s. The English dub voice for Sho was unbearable. Also, this followed the manga more exactly so the storyline is more accurate here. Also better characterization for some of the villains instead of them dying early. I prefer the OVA’s animation and action scenes though. The fights look much better in the 90’s one
