I am not a regular teledrama watcher but I am hooked with Para dige. I love the plot and portrait of how people like Banda play games to move on with life. Banda, Bunty and the musically talented boys brilliantly take us on the road (Para dige) with them. I also love that this story focuses not only on the lead roles but also it makes every character shines as all characters are somehow intertwined and important to tell the story. It is good to see that so far no completely separate storylines be seen.. I can see that everyone goes above and beyond to do their part. Banu’s Mona alayakda bun? line always cracks me up. However, living and working in America, I found that an American Company asking marriage certificate to give a job is so unreal. That will be the last thing on earth they will do as it will be a discriminatory practice in real life. Even if a subsidiary of an American firm abroad under American policies is unlikely do such a thing. So I totally could not get that part. I think the plot should be about a Middle Eastern Company (also have big bucks to pay) instead of an American as they probably adhere to those rules. Banda, Bunty, Banu, Abaya, Juda, Tutu, Rehan, Rexy, Darling, Sikura, Vathsala Nana, Pushpa, Adhikari, Damian, all play their character’s well to provide a mixture of emotions within us. Rehan’s aloofness, Rexy’s flamboyant energy, Ariyasena’s meekness, and annoying Vathsala, and Rehan’s family, Nanayakkara, Pushpa, girls, Adikari’s involvement keeps us on the edge to look for what will be forthcoming. I hope the writers will keep us entertained until the end of this story.
