Gs mirage is actually crazy busted, even though the damage isn't the highest you can put out alot of pressure even when in non roaming situations like zergs

I find GS Mirage to be amazing in zergs, and I am always in the top group for dps. But for roaming I find that it just doesn't have the sustain required. I find staff/dagger/shield best for roaming.

Yash. I personally think that the ambush greatsword visuals alone is in its own way, a good pressure on the enemy.

In Zerg fights this has become one of the more toxic builds to have existed (coming from a guild that is running them) all the pressure hits the commander and you win by stopping the com from being able to play. It’s also super powerful against roamers whilst playing as a Zerg as you can sit inside boons and one shot people from 1200 range. I really hope it gets nerfed as it’s really unfun to play against/with.

just put an internal cap on how many times the beams from one cast can hit a single target then, instead of potentially 9 hits from one cast make it 3

yeh potentially. Or make it more reliant on having 3 clones up so that its still viable outside of zergs but in zergs you have some counterplay/skillcap beyond spamming dodge and 1 on repeat.

I try to make this work in spvp but it’s just too squishy for my skill lvl on berserker amulet. How would playing it with marauder work while I learn it? Any general tips in spvp to make it more tanky without loaing too much damage? I have been playing condi mesmer but im noticing the stealth burst on sword/torch is so telegraphed I barely get it off.

you can roam on a celestial firebrand but its much different to support, generally a dragonhunter is easiest, core is easy but also weak

you shouldn't beat it if they play perfectly, but the best shot you have is using the pistol version because it gives you a lot more ranged pressure and running away to force them to use their cds to chase then turn on them, repeat.
