Confuse on this, I see them both on the website and steam, steam has a deal for Buy Guild Wars 2: Elder Dragon Saga-Complete Collection i tomce with all except Secrets of the Obscure which trying to understand what is that then. I am thinking fo getting this but nto sure what better to get it and what those 3 item are in the steam version. Can someone tell me what that means and afor yoru ref code what does that do? The Saga is the first three expansions, Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire, and End of Dragons. Secrets of the Obscure is the 4th expansion, and Janthir Wilds is the upcoming 5th.

Your characters can equip some new weapons, like guardian can equip pistols, and also you get 2 strike missions, one of which is difficult and actually pretty good. Other than that i didn't really interact with anything else in soto and i don't feel like i missed much.

Pick it up for new weapons, and fashion. The Rift Hunter armour looks really great on Ranger.

Also, an easier way to get a skyscale, open world legendary armor and the wizards vault stuff

Soto makes getting Skyscale easier and adds some benefits if you already have it. It adds some additoinal weapon choices for all characters. Wizards tower is a convenient hub for crafting. There is a vendor than lets you convert between currencies and change items filling your storage into something better.

The spear is not impressiv. It feels like they tried to press in some spears either a trait line or a class into the spear with very little success. So it seems that I will skip this expansion and the homestead stuff doesnt got me either. Currently I dont see anything that get me the feeling that spending 25€ is worth it.

I find that Beta tests is not worth doing as it a waste of time due not being able to keep drops.

Very true and you spoil any potential enjoyment regarding tested weapons. It's better to do that when expansion is fully released.
