Heavensward was perfectly good. I think I heard so many reviews and opinions that it skewed my playthrough a bit. The gameplay was very enjoyable though. 🙌

You are very right, Dawntrail is indeed right around the corner. Early Access begins June 28th, with official release on July 2nd. And I sincerely apologise in advance because the server queues are probably going to be horrific. Definitely don't rush your way to join us though!! There's so many great things to experience, with so much side content as well (please make sure to do the Normal & Alliance Raids, plus the Trial series of each expansion). It'll take a lot of time to get through, but it's always worth it in my opinion

So the "bunny" in the trailer was a spriggan (they're usually black), but you did good with the character IDs for where you might be in the story. As for Viper, I wouldn't try to overthink their rotation since at first glance of the real thing, it sorta makes some elementalist rotations in GW2 look like they're written in crayon. Pictomancer should be a lot easier to figure out, and it should be available once you hit 80 and clear the Shadowbringers story. Keep enjoying the story! That's something I'll be looking forward to with Dawntrail along with the new gear appearances.

Make sure to buy the same version of FFXIV that you are on the free trial. Steam Vs. Stand Alone in order to save your character

your ups and downs with ffxiv are noted, that grind after 2.0 even now is tumultuous , but once you get to like 2.5, and shit starts to hit the fan, thats when it usually clicks for alot of people, that intro going into heavensward was amazingly done, im glad to see that youre in one of the best expacs in the game

May I say that I can actually see you’re liking the story and getting into the story. I don’t like most of the _____ react video because most of react them for the sake of reacting or overanalysing the trailer. The fact that you’re only up to HW, moving towards Stb and you are able to remember all Scions name is impressive. Not every streamer is able to remember their name until Shadowbringer. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story and tell us about your journey.

Does it make sense to start playing FF now, when I have only 1-2 hours a day to spare? I'd probably get to the first expansion in 2025?! Not the type of player who skips story content.

I've only played through the base game, I have like 50/60 hours in game and the story is shit so far, combat got kind of interesting after like 40 hours (also doing story missions as a support is really dull as you deal next to none damage and have 2/3 damage skills) and maps are empty with no real things to do. Compared to GW2 dungeons were uninteresting, there were practically no mechanics and the existence of a tank makes you just blindly do your rotation without caring about what's happening (ofc as a healer you had to keep your teammates alive but imo it was still boring xd). I'm sure most of those change the further you go into the game. People praise the story, when you get more skills combat becomes ok (I hate global cool down so much though) and dungeons are the main thing to do in this game so there is a variety cause there are many many of them and they probably get better later on. Personally I didn't think it was worth spending like 50-100 hours more to get to the good part of the game so I quit for now
