GW2 - T4 Volcanic Guide & Walkthrough - Healbrand PoV w/ Live Commentary

The Volcanic fractal has a few pressure points where you as a Healbrand have a huge influence! The Grawl in Volcanic hit very hard on ALL tiers of this Fractal, and the final boss fight is no exception. A commonly missed mechanic is the Legendary Grawl Shaman's enrage timer after breaking the shield, and Healbrand has all the tools in its' kit to effectively deal with it.

Man, I can't express how much I appreciate this T4 guide list. I never got the chance to T4 since I stopped at T3 cause T3 pugs were so brutal, so I skipped to Raids. Now you've given me the drive to learn T4 and its a very good guides. Thank you for the content.

Really helpful guide - never new about the enrage bar and always thought i got downed because i was burning from the terrain. Learned something new every day! Btw - do you play alacrity renegade by any chance? Would really appreciate some help on how to play it.

The Volcanic Fractal has some pretty intense mechanics at certain points! The main pressure points being the initial encounter of Grawl, as well as the final boss encounter against the Legendary Grawl Shaman! He has an enrage mechanic that most groups overlook & wipe to constantly!

This is a large part of why I prefer running mace over axe and minstrel's over harrier's for some dailies. That and aoe pulls such as spectral grasp make this alot easier.

any chance to make Scourge videos like this? Is scourge even possible as healing/support in frac/raids? :shrug:

Once I get through all of the meta comp builds then I'll consider putting together some Off-Meta builds. Healscourge is a strong carry class in Raids, Strikes, and Fractals, it's just a very singular build with providing Barrier & having strong res-potential. The reason why you don't see it is due to how defensive it is, and the main time you bring a healscourge is typically because the group is struggling to stay alive. Ideally you don't want to form a group with the intention of going downstate, you want to start off with building a group that can avoid going down all together, but of course if that's tough for your group then a heal scourge makes a good substitute.

Nice guide but I would suggest to use radiance instead of valor, or maybe virtues if u have new players ( or sirens reef with bad instabs)

Most would suggest this, Radiance is good for more offensive bonuses with Signet share and use of Bane Signet, and virtues would be great here should you bring consecrations like Wall of Reflection / Sanctuary. Valor is my standard go-to for more carry potential & it's what I'm most comfortable with.
