GW2 WvW Dragonhunter - Melee Pain Train - Build and Explanation

Hello guys, and welcome back to my channel.
Dragonhunter is right now one of the 3 best damage classes for WvW zergs, together with Holosmiths and Berserkers,with probably a smaller burst, but higher sustained damage for longer fights.

I don't think condi is relevant for now; celestial can work on some classes but overall the meta is power

There's been literally nothing that would support a shift to condi...would need there to be less cleansing overall and that's just not the reality of WvW currently.

@@egoboost13 some condi cleanses were nerfed a bit on almost every class, over the latest months... But I doubt that's enough to make condi better than power

Well, I have seen different, we will see how it will work out, but cele fb, scourge and reaper and on the rise.

@@ProblemSolver101 i saw those too , but we need real proofs from good players/guild, not just the talking. Also a few points : Celestial firebrand is probably the best of those you mentioned, it gets the job done , it's just a bit less tanky than minstrel and provides the same heals and boon duration , while having a damage output close to zero in both stats combination. Celestial scourge : torment and burning are indeed strong on scourge, but i doubt they can perform better than a full power scourge, and even if so, 100% worse than other dps classes (holo, bers,dh, reaper) Celestial reaper is probably garbage and unplayable, the class is already not the best dps option, and celestial basically kills its power damage to get some useless stats as condi damage, healing power etc...

It can work, Wb has great burst but it's much squishier than DH. Try it in smaller fights, like maximum 25vs25 or something like that

@@metallonegw2283 do you know elektra channel? They make small groups to fight 25 zerg. They have some H/GS WB built. But they don't give it.

@@MonsieurKramps i don't know them, but i don't watch much other channels. It's probably something with zeal, radiance and wb, the traits are pretty much always the same

Can the hammer be changed to a long bow?

Longbow 5 is very good, but the cooldown is so long...and other longbow skills are kinda bad because projectile. In very big fight hammer is mandatory, in smaller scaler longbow is good
