Based on some conversations in the Discord, I think there's going to be a third Chrono video sometime next month that talks about Mimic, Veil, Mantra of Concentration, and Portal. It's hard to overstate how flexible Chronomancer's utilities are, and I think it's worth taking a deeper dive into them. Also, I don't want to say I told you so, but October's off to a great start so far. I'm a little annoyed that I have a work trip next week, or I could really make some progress. But I'm hoping to get a lot of videos out the door this month (and possibly even next month too). Stay tuned. :)

Very easy to practice Chronomancer on a golem. It helped me a lot with getting the basic muscle memory of Continuum Split figured out. Good luck!

I like that you recommend greatsword. Most of the guides I see online use shield, but greatsword offers more range, clone generation, and boon removal.

Shield's still fine, especially if you're having trouble living (somehow). But Greatsword is really strong right now, I think it's a better option overall. :)

Hey Sheff, you said in this video or your intro chrono video that auto attack GS removes boons. Typo or can you please explain?

Your SWORD autoattack chain removes boons, on the third attack in the chain. The skill is Mind Spike (wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Mind_Spike). I checked the subtitles file, it's correct there, so I could have mis-spoke in the video. :)

Could i run this build in celestial gear? Or would it dull it up in all kinds of ways?

Celestial should still be fine.

Takes quite a hit on hitpoints and a power, but i think itll be decent :)

Chrono's "hitpoints" are a bit of a trap, because you'll want to use your Sword 2 and Distortion to live through any spicy situations anyway. A bit of padding is good, but if you know where your invulns are, you shouldn't really notice the effective hp loss moving from Wanderer/Minstrel to something like Cele.

I like playing my chrono with wanderer gear and a power focused relic and rune. With marauder/diviner weapons for some oomph and act more as a tank.

Yep. It's never going to get you to the top of the meters, but it fills a Scourge-ish role in a comp, where it does some damage but also brings a lot of boon strip (and in Chrono's case, Quickness or Alacrity).

@@Dunuy69 Core ones I prefer leadership or Defender. Expac ones idk, maybe Cerus for the grav well synergy.

My own commanding isn't much of an improvement, honestly. At least in the groups I play with, people aren't sure what the plan is if the commander isn't communicating all the time. But it's very different group to group, and there's a lot of other communication styles that commanders use.
