GWAMM Guide - Guild Wars [30+ maxed titles]

This is a great video guide that helped me with my GWAMM. I started late April of this year with no understanding of the game and managed to achieve GWAMM last week! 530 hours in-total with 50/50 HoM. Ngl I had to watch this video at least 15 times to fully understand what I needed to do as the lists on wiki are very overwhelming haha. Once again thank you Peter!

Love that you're doing vids for GW1, one of my all-time favorite games which I still play to this day... I remember when I was recruited by a friend of mine, who's now working with developing games, as a tester and I fell in love with it during just the first hour. Not only by the gameplay, but that it was developed as a CMO which I still don't know if there's any other simply because I saw the future for my clan in it and the ideas were just brilliant behind it. Thanks alot for making great videos and keeping the game alive!

Going for my GWAMM after all these years. I put in a good amount of time in my younger days, to accomplish a whole lot of nothing it seems like. Spent most of my time trying to PvP and not being very good at it, it seems. I think a majority of my time went there and towards the Legendary Survivor I could never quite attain, oh the number of deleted Dervishes....lol Love this video! Really wishing I was in a somewhat active guild instead of the leader of an empty one! You're the kinda guy that brings this game to life! Thanks for the video, hope to catch you ingame. Currently working on vanquishing Elona.

I have 8 gwamm titles 😅 it's what brought me back to gw1 after roughly 5 years of not playing. I restarted with a friend and we would grind for hours together. Definitely fun.

4000 hours down, and I've had so much fun. Yet I am barely 75 hours into getting GWAMM, I must have done nothing in all my time in the game. I actually miss the real game that was GW1 prior to its hard mode and automation. Those days were the most fun, its barely a stick figure of what it once was; yet still so much fun... One day I hope to see something better than GW1 come out. Till then I'll enjoy watching your videos. Thanks Péter.

I’m 3500 hours in and in a similar boat. I think I just had too many characters lol all I did was collect cool armor for them all.

I did more JQ, FA, and AB, than anything else. After an 8 year break, and pvp not being what it used to be, I'm planning to get everything else done.

5.000 hours but no title grinding. Game got destroyed with the introduction of heroes.

Same, I did a bunch of HA, GvG, other pvp, then DoA, UW, and FoWsc. I have 10 max titles and several others pretty close without ever really aiming for em

~300 hours for a not-so-efficient GWAMM seems lower than I would've guessed. I usually waste a ton of time when I'm playing GW just doing stuff I think is silly or fun like the AFK Gate of Madness or Raptor/Vaettir farms or stuff that doesn't necessarily help with title maxing so maybe you're right. Weird to think you can GWAMM in less than a month with a lot of time and focus.

It is not about the young sports who are riding on high waves. It's about that old man over there with his sunbleached surfboard . If you look closely you can see it has an old design with 3 fins. That man over there was probably there when the first wave emerged and he will be there when the last wave will rise. That is exactly you Peter. You are still surfing. 😌😀

You mentioned the afk method for the survivor title. I tried it with the pvxbuild you've screenshotted and died for unknown reason half the way to r3. It would be nice if you would make a video guide of the build you've actually played in this video.

If playing 9 rings you should stand in a corner. There you get the same amount of lucky points but more unlucky points compared with the middle ring.

I'm thinking about returning to gw1 to get the gwamm title for gw2. Should I start a new character to get all titles to make it easier or just try to figure out how to play again. I don't want to start fresh but I have no idea how to work heros or anything about the game anymore.

SoS rit is very good but I was finding to struggle with some hard mode missions because of the lack of aoe. It seemed weaker than almost any other class in that regard. Kinda bummed because he’s my favorite character. So if u know any practical builds besides SoS for damage I’d love to know

You can have a hero Minion Master with Aura of the Lich and try using Weapons of Three Forges.

Regarding LDOA: since I'm going for HOM rewards for gw2 and only have a ritualist in gw1, do you know if I make a new character and go for LDOA, does this title get added to my account HOM?

yes, u can display the title but make sure u talk to the npc at the portal, thats how u can switch between account/single character mode

How long would you say it to would take someone like me who is completely new to arpg genre, only played gw2 as an mmorpg before. I'm curious because I'd love to play gw for gwamm but maybe along the way I will fall in love with the game:) If anyone has any sort of estimate, I will humbly accept my fate xD

Oh yeah also, grinding isn't a problem whatsoever! I've played gw2 for around 3years (2700h) grinded hard for 51 legendaries (including armor 12x, sigils4x and runes7x), no real money put into game outside of expansions.

gwamm for a beginner can easily take 400-500 hours

zkeys are easy to buy these days, just sell nick gifts for easymoney and turn the ectos to zkeys

Peter, imagine if someone offered you a million euroes. To get it you'd be locked in an attic or basement with a computer, internet connection and a fresh copy of all of Guild Wars One (inc Eye of the North), so everything is blank and you're starting from zero. In that time you have one year to max out ten gwamms - one of each class, within one year. Would that be your dream challenge?

10.000 Chests 10.000 lockpicks are what? 1.5plat each? so 15.000 plat or when ectos are 5plat 3k ectos. Jesus maria.

u forgot to consider lockpick retains :) for 10k chests u need around 5-6k lockpicks not 10k
