And it's not too far off on accuracy either, all water is irl is just soft particles that have liquid properties, water can totally be simulated to any extent on computer hardware in real time, the computer in question just needs the PhysX power to do it, maybe some help from good ol Nvidia could help us make super accurate water simulation in real time

This is not only impressive for gmod, it's actually impressive for real time fluid simulations in general, and I say this with no authority or knowledge in the field whatsoever but I've never seen any game featuring anything like this before. The particle engine (FleX) does simple diffuse particle calculations which can simulate bubbles. Even though bubbles and foam are the same particle, bubbles only appear under water and foam appears over water
