Gwent | DOUBLE CIRI DASH SOLDIERS CAN BE GAME BREAKING

I had an idea to run Ciri Dash in Nilfgaard and what came to mind was a soldier deck as there are many supporting cards to keep her out of removal range. With Calveit sorting our deck to ensure we draw into our best card, Ciri/Letho abusing the coin and solid core bronze engines that can play well above their provisions this deck feels surprisingly strong. If the opponent can't answer this wild combo we should just win. I may make some changes to the list down the line but here's early access.

@@Qcento well deserved support. I'm new, 7 weeks in to this knowldeg based game and your content cuts the BS and gets to nitty gritty. Faction knowledge is key knowing what the opposition is plotting with certain units they pull and how to combat etc. Most channels are about themselves and ego massaging. @Mister Perfection nah, most started their channels like that. From what I gather Q's always used this process in fact many are now simulating him by giving written and vocal deck guides and explanations etc. Which their early videos didn't have. They'd just play and chat nonsense. Now they emulate Q. Says it all.

I like the threat of the double Ciri, it makes opponents make irrational plays. It seems an Assassin for Affan would be a good swap, one less point - three provisions to play with, and with Calviet we don't waste the Affan draw. Fun deck sir.

I am playing with rhis deck since a couple days. It is a winner. I find is is more efficient when using the Ciri combo on round 2 or 3 because on round 1 the opponent often pass defore Ciri's countdown and I lose the 2 cards advantage. I also changed the illusionists for purify (neutral) and squirrel. This has proven very useful. Thanks!!

What a scary deck! But it looks super fun to play! By the way, Jan Calveit can be used to counter Clog very nicely. Just preserve him a bit and play him to put the garbage on the bottom of the deck (I am sure you have thought of this already but I saw a lot of Clog this weekend so I thought it would be nice to point out)! I tried the deck and at the start it was failing epicly but after 10 games i am on a 6 win streak! Its a very difficult deck but if you have the knowledge of your enemy's deck and know when to play each card its easy to come around. The only decks that its struggling against its pirates and illumines but if your hand is better at the start you can win! Nice 70% wr for the first 16 games, good job!

Interasting deck ng soldiers is one of my all time favorites . Might i suggest blight makers, slave infantry and mage infiltrators . It's what i run in my soldiers deck and it all clicks thogether

You did a post game commentary right? Because in the enslave game they yenned your defender into joachim. So you should not have worried about them yenning your ciri. I was just wondering if you can remember if you thought that while playing the game as well

@@Qcento hahaha I was just about to craft it. Maybe once I have a huge excess of scraps I'll try it. I've been using the other one and seeing a relative amount of success, though I'm cheap and haven't crafted usurper, so I keep making minor changes. But I definitely prefer the route you took instead of the whole infantry swarm.

I haven't played or even looked at qwent since right around when scraps and card crafting got added. Did they ever bring back Consume/token spam Monsters?

I know there is a lot you can do with consume Deathwish and token swarm but you'd probably be looking at 2 different decks for these strats. The game has changed quite a bit but hopefully if you get back into it some of my decks can help you get started.

@@Qcento turns out I'd be starting from scratch if I start playing again. All my GM titles and animated cards/scraps/powder etc are gone. Didn't know they'd canceled console support and I missed their window to copy profile to mobile/pc. Starter decks any good these days? Lol

@@W3TIC3 That's rough, I vaguely remember reading something like this but I'm not totally sure. The starter decks are pretty bad imo but I started a series recently from a fresh account with $0 spent "Become a pro series" on my channel. In this series I go from rank 30 (tutorial) to pro. I think I may have gotten to rank 17 in the last episode. May be useful if you're just getting back into it. The big thing is taking those starter decks and actually making something of them which is covered.

@@Qcento Yeah, turns out full release got cut off on consoles not long after mobile was released. Whenever that was. Ah well. I'll have to check that series out and see what I'll be working with. Hopefully some workable engines. I always liked running my graveyard/consume monsters and full control scoiatel lists back before full release

@@Qcento inspired zeal. Several times I was playing against Vampires and they gave me a fleder with their operator. I hit their fleder with a buffed baron and applied 20+ bleeding in one turn. Huge fleder on my side is very funny.

There should be a disloyal card that boosts a random enemy by 2 unit whenever the player controlling it plays a unit.
