Gwent | KNIGHTS NOW EVEN STRONGER IN 10.12

Northern Realms Knights are definitely tier 1 in 10.12, but with the addition of Temple of Melitele: Congregation, some may argue they are too strong at the moment. In this video I talk about card selection, reasoning and strategy before playing 5 games with live commentary for reference.

At least it's an engine deck so even having a bricked card as advantage is still pretty useful, as it gives an extra turn for your engines to keep rolling. In a pointslam or control deck it would have been devastating

I've been trying out a Melitele since the recent patch. She's better, and more useable but she's a really hard engine to get full use. I've been running a board swarm, smoke em out, Keneth and gar with radovid, decoy and temple for those extra leader charges with thinning units like seige support and commado/dun banner with draw engines like snowdrop or Istred.

You should almost always put vandergrift back row because that’s where you put the Scenario and make use of the grace next turn.

I created my own knight deck and oh my they weren't ready for that boost I defeated a monster consume deck man the scenario is so good at the end

Nice, I was searching a northern realm deck today ^^ I also build a strange deck that worked for me, I'd like to suggest you the idea (I shared it on Gwent site, I called it Gezraz Surprise, on Gwent I'm called RivirNoGeralt) : It is a Precision Strike deck, using elves scenario + Vanadain & Simlas combo. The idea is to tempo with this combo meanwhile using Allgod and offering on Gord, dryads,... The surprise is Germain (10 prov, generate 4 cows) + leader makes 8 body's on the range row in one turn, then Gezraz, then Gord. Hard to pull of correctly to be honest, nothing competitive there.

I think this is just not your type of video, but you know what i'd love to see from you? A detailed explanation on why a selected card or cards are good and how to use them, such as Maxi. I noticed that you never use cursed scroll, and it would be nice to se why (i use it in almost every deck). Love your vids!

heatwave is very worth imo. Harmony and knights scenario produce lots of points. heatwaving helps a lot. you are in a tricky position if u face a scenario deck which heatwave yours but you cant deal with scenario tbh

I personally don't heatwave Scoia'tael scenario but you're right about the mirror. I talked about subs for Heatwave in the Intro. Unless I start queuing the mirror a lot I don't see a need to swap but the option is there.

If you're worried about that, either a squirrel would help, you could put Heatwave back in or just purify their defender and take sword on their 2nd Kelly when it has doomed and veil. We'd have removal reach.
