I had a mission to come up with the strongest and most consistent way to play Syndicate Firesworn in 10.9 and eventually built this non-devotion banger. In this video I talk about card selection, reasoning and strategy before playing 5 games with commentary for reference.

​@@Hoggod I'll go and entertain this. Sure, I like them as villains, which is all you can really call them as they lack any positive qualities. I like their aesthetic and their voicelines. But that's not the reason they're possibly my favorite Gwent archetype, not even my favorite villains. My reasons are far more mechanical than aesthetic: I really like "swarm" decks in Gwent, ones that generate a ton of tokens and then benefit in some way from those tokens. Consequently I also really like Arachas Swarm and Elf Swarm decks. But I think Firesworn is my favorite of the Swarm archetypes because of the sheer number of ways they have to facilitate and benefit from generating their tokens.

Congrats on the new job, QC. The freedom of remote working cannot be overstated. I work remote 2-3 days a week and it just hits perfect. Love me some Firesworn! The coolest form of swarm IMO. Procession is such a cool payoff card; the high-end Firesworn golds are just really good fun. Amazing stuff as always, you're like my black market Gwent dealer showing me new wares.

If you aren't getting Dor value in the ND version it's an easy swap for Procession. I definitely enjoy the ND version more though. It feels good to be back!
