I'll definitely get around to playing all of them but I don't want to find myself jamming them in every deck just cause they're new. What I enjoy about the new cards is that they make me also consider older cards I probably would've passed on before like Rotfiend for example in this deck due to Giant Toad.

@@Qcento my sentiments exactly. I'm playing around with an assimilate + Rune mage but experimenting as you know = losses = low MMR until it's tweaked just right. Need to let the meta settle a bit as per usual. Looking forward to your new content man. 🤜

After taking another break for most of last season and not being able to watch the open I looked at the new cards today. Dude, this is the best card drop I have seen for any online card game, period! So excited to see what you do with it (I suck at deck building :D)!

Actually found myself in a few tough situations with this. Sometimes miss thinning, miruna maybe doesn't have a great target, same with pellar and spores, if you dont draw frogs for carryover or if you accidentally mistime with haunt+frog, sometimes don't have consume targets. It's a hard deck to use but I'll keep practicing with it. If anyone has tips for this please share your experience.

The most critial thing with Deathwish decks is to find a balance of deathwish and consume cards. Its really bad if you have to use your leader abilties in round one. Or if you have to eath non- deathwish units because you don't have anything else on the board. I had one match without consumes on hand in round one this moring. So I decided to overcommit heavily and played out Haunt. I did win eventually, but had a hard time in round 2 and three. But I won nonetheless. With 2 points ahead. Against Dwarfs. What greatly helped me here was that I saved up all the bad control cards for the last round. So that I was able to interrupt my opponents play.

@@remanipulator Absolutely, I think this deck needs a few more deathwish units rather than relying on miruna draw, blue coin and triple steal. For me, AQ detlaff is a hard combo not to include in deathwish

I tried the deck and it is really fun. The only problem I have with it is there are times where you have too much consumes. So proper mulligan and assessment of number of consumes and number of deathwishes is critical.

I gotta tell ya, this deck feels really great to play. I find myself largely waiting to steal their stuff and I seem to be able to keep them off balance no matter what side of the coin I'm on. Might just be luck but I've been doing pretty well with this. Thanks for putting this together. Playing deathwish properly feels amazing.

Amazing deck as usual. In this part of the season I don't often find much use for the muzzle, what do you think including Goliath? It adds some points and another DW card, not to mention it can crash the plans for some decks like NG and ST

So, played around with it. Nice little deck but against Cave troll + vampires it's tough to get rid of the troll and they sabbath and it's game over. Against Kolgrim + Letho clog it struggles, too. Definitely a nice deck, though. I refuse to be the douche bag that uses clogs 😂 Maybe try and squeez in Oneiromancy for more consistency 🤷🏻‍♂️

sad thing that deathwish never been meta beacuse of how hard it is to balance the number of card that have deathwish and card that can consume it. I have an idea for a new card that only 9 provision, so you can renew or even carathir with it. It would be a whale monster name bloop, wil the deploy: consume all your allied unit with deathwish and put a counter on this card by the number of card consumed. Counter: X, lower the counter by 1 whenever you play a deathwish unit. When counter reach zero, reset this card and unlock it order. Order: replay this card. The idea behind this card is to allow you build a deck with as many deathwish unit as you like and need only a few consume card with this will be your core. This card seem OP, but not exactly, when the counter reach zero, the card reset which bring it back to it original power (6), which can be dealt with by a lot of way, the order come in the next turn after the reset. So opponent have plenty option to deal with it. Or you can just, deal with the vulnerable deathwish card before this whale come out. Also because of it 9 provision, you can renew it in the second round, and when it replay it also remove the doomed status allow you to witches sabbath it. I just love deathwish card, they are the first OG archertype for monster in gwent and seeing it being left under dust compare to relict, thrive and even swarm deck.

Also I have a lot of idea for the old deathwish card to be...quite meta but not broken. Miruna now additionally have a deploy: purify a unit no more bricking pellar and the deathwish now can seize more than 1 unit with power 4 or below but can only seize unit from the opposite row but then she also infuse seized unit with thrive because why the hell not, sir cum a lot is 8 prov with the passive that make him asleast 13prov (opponent unit also proc thrive). Toad prince now have thrive and a deathwish: spawn the consumed unit in this row and boost it by the number of thrive boost this card recieve, your engine is now mine, and it better. Imp Manticore now have a deploy: destroy lowest unit, if it your unit, boost self by the same amount, if it opponent unit, trigger deathwish immediately, manticore deathwish turn into: destroy highest unit, if it your unit, split that unit power and boost it among all your other unit, if it opponent unit, split that unit power and damage it among all opponent unit (this is my favorite idea btw). And then werecat would be perfect combo with wererat (not the succubus wtf gwent?), Werecat deploy: damage all unit in the opposite row by 1. Thrive. Deathwish: deploy happen again, Devotion: if this card is consumed by wererat, at the start of your next turn summon this card from your graveyard to the rightside of wererat (vulnerable to squire and other banish in grave). And finnally, mourntart a.k.a the weirdest monster card that didn't exactly follow any archertype, might as well make it deathwishable. Deploy: gain armor for each card your opponent control. Order: consume all unit card in your graveyard and boost self by 1 for each card consumed. if any consumed card is a deathwish card, trigger their deathwish for the last time. Mourntart is the idea card for short round 3 once you have burn all your deathwish card in r1 r2 trying to bleed r2 failed? no more deathwish unit for the big whale to come out, just mourntart and turn their deathwish into lastwish.

He didn't. It was a 100% chance because if Miruna missed with the stratagem, he'd consume Miruna with leader and still get Saskia since it'd be the only one on the board.

nothing more toxic than mill, specially when you queue up 80% of the time against it. That just kill all the fun of the game because there is no interactions. the other 20 % of the matches are against nekker. no more variety. all factions are nekker list or it s ng mill. just sad. started to play the game 3 weeks ago, rank 1 at the end of the last season, and now in 2 days i m already disgusted. Now all my grinds to build a lot of different decks just for nothing. nekker, mill and dwarfs are so overpoweredi m very disapointed, anyway, i have to say that i really like your content, but when i see how you enjoy playing all those different archetypes, i don t know how you will enjoy this expansion
