XF 88. Dark Yellow 2. Nice looking kit there Nigel. I would love to see a ‘how to’ build video. You do such a great job.

Excellent!, I thought you might go for that R75 kit after seeing that superb 3d set!,Ramcke brigade were paratroopers, & the sidecar was a shaft drive so BOTH rear wheels were powered!.

I had no choice!! I was given the R75.

Nice kit but definitely difficult, not done for beginners. A lot of issue with anchor points and with the instruction manual. You can check the full build and painting guide on my channel if you want to know all about this kit 😊

I'll second a vote for 1/24 wire spoke wheels!

Nice little kit but too small for me, but will watch your build

1/12 spoked wheels would be popular assuming they would fit onto most of the kits for each brand. like Aoshima naked bikes range for example.

Great review Nigel. There are so many different kits from manufacturers that I've never heard of before. That's why I enjoy watching different genres of model builders. It expands my knowledge as well as gives me a better look at this hobby. Thanks again!!

You read my mind, Nige. I have two 1/24 MG TCs which would love sets of wheels like those. Motobitz do some lovely ones for the E type and MGB so maybe before too long.........

Yes 3D printing is the way to go.

Hi Nigel, great review. I've got this kit in the stash along with the zundapp; they are amazing kits for the detail. I just looked on the ask Website, and the update set is not showing up any idea when it it might be available at all. Also, I will be watching your build very closely. cheers Gary 🇬🇧

Received BOTH the bmw & zundapp kits from china(!) (10 days not bad) now awaiting HANNANTS to re-stock the ASK 3d parts-i did note that according to both the kit instructions there appears no means of attaching the 'jerry' cans to the bike/sidecar?.

Actually Tony, the BMW kit is awful!! Every hole is too small for the connecting pin and the use of PE is a little silly? I think the Miniart Harleys are better? The GWH is not unbuildable but it is tricky.
@tonysurridge30338 ай бұрын
Nothing that a TRUE modeller cant cope with though!, I have had FAR worse 'faults' on some kits that I have built over the years!.
@NigelsModellingBench8 ай бұрын
Oh of course, but for a pretty modern kit.. its just a bit silly.

regarding the BMW R75 & Zundapp Ks750 weren't they more or less similar?
