Very VERY nice! I love your videos... I like how you take Guilow's and make them RC and fly them all... modern electronics but nostalgic models...

Nice flight! Quite the nagging nancy... Any suggestions on figuring out motor mount angle? Thanks for sharing! Keep 'em flying

Thanks! Down and right works for me ! Im not sure in degrees but give it till you can really notice the gap difference in the spinner. Really the only time you notice not enough down right thrust is at wide open throttle and then you can give it some aileron or rudder till you get out of it and cruise. Thanks for your comments all these years!

Yours looks great with the landing gear on it.mine is a belly lander. .can you please tell me what size prop you use?? Thanks again..keep the Guillow's builds coming. Keep All ur plane builds coming...take care...Ray

Thanks ray.Awesome you built one glad to hear it! This prop is a GWS ep 8040 so its a thin light 8x4 electric prop.

@@jagdpanther9 ok great. 8x4 prop👍👍👍.by seeing how it flew in ur vidd with that 2 cell 800 mah battery and 8x4 prop that setup is perfect!!! I used that battery in my 109 to..but different prop..mine flew crazy fast and was all over the place till I trimmed it out. Gonna try that battery and prop and give er go....take care..Ray

What was your process for painting the parklite? Do you prep the surface or just spray right on top of it?
@jagdpanther92 жыл бұрын
parklite works really good with most any spray paint with no prep. i used testors enamel thinned a little through a air brush on this model but i have used rattle cans on them as well. grey primer is awesome for the underside of many schemes. the neat thing is if you dont like how it turns out just take a thinner rag and wipe it off and start over. even years later if you want to change it up you can wipe it off and re paint.

@@jagdpanther9 I'll have to try that on my next kit, did you put a clear coat on? The paint held up great. The model looks fantastic.
@jagdpanther92 жыл бұрын
Nope no clear coat. I use automotive 2 part mat clear on my glow and gas powered models.
