Pity no one has test drive the Cannon X top model. More features and much nicer interior with full leather. The steering has three settings and there’s rugged off road settings. More safety and tech than any other Ute on the market. 3 tonne towing, 1 tonne in the tray and a 7yr warranty for 34k, 38k or 41k. It might not have the top end power but it rides great and may pressure the top end to pack in more features or drop the crazy prices.

@heyumico3 жыл бұрын
I’ve been driving the cannon x for about a month now and although it’s really great value for money it does lack in some areas. 1/ suspension needs a bit of correcting. Although it ok it’s miles off how an Amarok handlings 2/ the tray giggles when you close the tailgate 3/ could do with a little more power, maybe a second turbo 4/ to scroll through the trip computer is not so easy and can only be done while in park which hopefully be changed with a software upgrade at the next service 5/ would have been good to get wireless Apple car play because it has wireless charging but when it’s plugged in the phone does not fit in the charging bay anymore which is a shame. Saying all that coming from a Amarok Ultimate V6 and a Ranger Raptor the GWM is half the price with twice as more features which I love!

It almost be impossible to have a bigger than 2L Diesel engine in Chinese market. As the government is trying to kill diesel cars apart from keeping industrial heavy trucks/machinery etc. some cities are really not diesel friendly too(??heavy metal pollution issues). I think as a company they probably don’t want to make two production lines, one for domestic the other for international, as the cost will be increased. That why I think only 2L is available. I might be wrong though.
